After 52 years of studying in Spain, and returning in about a month to explore and consider residency, I have been practicing my Spanish. (lived in Valencia) I was okay until the third level. I love how you pronounce the words and then speak, as my challenge is the listening part. The phrase mas despacio is a huge part of my vocablulary- never forgotten. lol. I would love to see lessons on the practice of listening and comprehending. I am a senior so becomes even more challenging than before but that is indeed great for brain health! Great video and subscribed. Enjoyed the challenge.

I got all 15 correct! I wasn't sure about the last four questions, but the multiple-choice options helped me figure them out. "Greed" was the only answer I completely guessed. It was a lot of fun! I started learning four months ago, and while I still can't understand much of what people say to me or create meaningful sentences, I read a lot and continue to learn new words.

Hmm, a ver. Para que lo sepas, soy de Londres y estoy aprendiendo Español y Frances. Frances es dificil, Español no lo es. Conseguí 14/15 pero a mi modo de ver mi nivel esta entre intermedio y avanzado. Que yo sepa depende que contexto, por ejemplo la palabra fuerza. Si digo. Toquè la puerta con fuerza significa, I knocked on the door with force or forcibly. No he aprendido his fear of heights stopped him from climbing y por eso mi nivel no es avanzado hubiera dicho su miedo a las altiuras le parè de subir( evidentamente lo que acabo de escribir es incorecto), . Pero con 1 año en Sevilla y seis meses en Ecuador sin hablar en ingles, estoy contento. Muchas gracias. Me gusta este tipo de video. ¡Què Dios te Bendiga!

First of all, thank you for your work in helping us all improve our Spanish! I appreciate the effort you put into selecting the 16 words, and I can see how they could be useful for learners at various levels. (I got all the words, but to be fair, I would have liked them to be more challenging. Also, I feel that the sample sentences used to demonstrate the meanings of these words came across a bit artificial especially for the easier levels. Perhaps choosing sentences that feel more natural and reflect real-life usage could be more beneficial to us learners. Just a thought.

Hola Sanja. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this comment. Your feedback is very much appreciated. There will be more videos following this format and I can make those advanced words a bit more challenging, as well as adapting the sentences to a more natural context. I totally agree with that! Thanks for reflecting on that :) Let me know your thoughts in the next video!

15/15 Una pequeña sugerencia: siempre coloca el artículo con la palabra (si es un sustantivo) para que tus alumnos lo fijen en el cerebro. Obviamente, lo tenías en las oraciones de muestra, pero dar siempre la palabra con el artículo es recordarles a los lectores que SIEMPRE deben aprender los sustantivos con el marcador de género. ¿Qué tal una prueba similar, pero solo con verbos?

Thx. Just a couple of comments: something gets harder.... not ´more´ harder. The choice of ´enigma´ for a B1-2 level word is enigmatic to me as it comes from greek and latin and is adopted in many languages and therefore not characteristic for a B1-2 (spanish) level asessment. oh, yup 15/15 and I doubt that this would put me in the upper 30 percentile let alone the top 5%.
