I like Hogies, they do all the Guess bags. I have bought this calendar because it’s different. Yes the products might be older but I don’t buy into this “you must use makeup within 6 months rubbish”. Our moms and nans had eyeshadows and lipsticks that were at least 15 years old in their make up bags and mascara that had been topped up with hot water for at least 3 years. If it smells bad throw it…. If not it’s safe to use!

The Hogies mystery beauty boxes are tbh better value than the advent calendar - for the £30 one I got a full size Anastasia BH palette as part of the contents in it!

I would maybe consider as it’s a new brand to you, choosing a few of the beauty products especially maybe the eye makeup and trying to find out the manufacturer date by using the different batch numbers. Just for peace of mind. Great video though ❤

The red mouse lip colour is just like the glossier lip product from space nk. It's a great calendar for the price! Could you use the anastasia brow product as eyeshadow 🤔

Oh no, I might be late to the party. Lol 😆 but last year I was hospital for months and this is how I would help create people hampers or add to their presents. What was wrong with your look incredible, especially if they aren't going to give us what is sold in usa too. I watched a previous video of Morgan turner and she was opening loads of sephora favourites bags which would have been ideal. They got us again grrrr 😆 🤣 😂 ❤️

Can't say I'd heard of the brand before you mentioned it the other day Claire, there's a lot of filler products in the calendar and the brands are really hit and miss, I think maybe for a young teen this would be good or someone who has never really been into skin care or beauty before. Otherwise I would give it a miss and go for Look fantastic, Beauty bay or Boots, or even a Cult beauty special edit box that they've just come out with.

Hi from the US. Here we call it TJ Maxx and its the same as TK Maxx in the UK. Never new that. Now besides sniffing and swatching you're licking lip gloss. lol You are a real treat and make my day. I thought for the price it was a good Advent. The simple packaging must help keep the cost down. I do love a good drawer or box for the ease of opening instead of punching in to get the item.
