Just learn to think before doing. With that I mean if you can argue what you will do will positively progress the game it's okay to do so, you don't need to be perfectly efficient like is grubs worth more then dragon at Lowelo but does it make Sense to do it now. Jngler in silver are gross, they do blind dragons, no wards no idea what the enemy does or what they see... Gank mid or bot before drake and if you can't, you probably have 2 winning lanes and can just do it.. But if I'm aurelion being pushed in by a zed using his clone for poking and my jngler does drake HE IS STUPID zed uses his only, long CD escape for poke so he is a free kill and aurelion deletes dragons....

But he went 10-0 without really making alot of high effort plays. That's the entire point of the video. He played like a bot. No crazy ganks, no trying super hard for obj. Just farming, backing for items, then taking the occasional gank. It's that easy.

It really is possible bro, so many games you will see enemy jg gank top, gank mid, gank bot. IN sequential order! lol. That’s at least 3 kills before you even start your second clear. And then they’ll either force leads with objectives and your team will feel super scared to give everything and force bad fights. It’s so easy to hit 6 first and have it for first obj and then ace the people who walk up with no vision or plan.

Amazing demonstration on the pings,. I always ping the objective I want to do next but I never thought about pinging RIGHT AFTER danger pinging the shit play currently happening. It makes sense considering the fuck ton of info you have to compute every second of the game that they WILL forget the objective I pinged 2m ago. So by pinging danger into assistance you make your teammate put two and two together. Pinging directly on the play is also a great tip. One thing you didn't mention is that you kinda built trust over the course of the game by instantly following up on your pings. I often tend to ping out of base when I want to do a play, so everyone has time to prepare (push wave, clear vision...) but I feel like that's too early. If you're not almost here already there's no reason for your mate to invest their time to move if you might actually change your mind half-way through. Of course it won't necessarily happen but they have no way of knowing.

Part of the problem, I think, is that junglers who aren't confident in their own gameplay will often let themselves get bullied by their teammates into making the wrong decisions. *OF COURSE* the laners want you to be perma-ganking because it makes their game easier, most of them have never actually *played* jungle to know what ganking costs (Which is also why the 3 minute gank is so weirdly successful). The jungler should be ganking, absolutely, but it's your call as a jungler, not the laner's. If they don't like how their jungler is playing then they can go queue in the role themselves and try doing it better. God knows the game needs fewer autofill jungles.

Very good : Remember that League of legends is a solo game played with 4 other team mates. Everyone has a different priority : Supp wants to give vision and support a carry, Adc wants to farm, mid wants to get prio and so on ... For example, It's quite common that a laner won't follow your call to drake until his wave is crashed or if his wave is under his own tower.

One small note for people at the kled gank in those situations lets say nasus death timer was longer, when the wave is sitting around there if you trim the wave to 4 minions it will freeze at that point giving your top laner a comfortable position to farm and potentially setting up a 2nd gank to punish an early tp etc.

Man, people need to stop making generalized statements about not helping their laners that are behind. It sets a bad precedent to the noobs who take it as gospel. You have a scaling champion that is losing. If you just leave him to get dove, kled becomes a problem for you later and nasus won't be able to catch back up. You are contradicting yourself at these two timestamps: 6:46 and 8:57
@gohkong2892
@gohkong2892 Ай бұрын
You are missing the point, he did not say early. Literal quote here: "You should never spend time with your losing lane, it is so pointless" then proceeds to talk about going to camp botlane. In most cases, this is true but the fact that he just makes a blanket statement like that is why junglers will miss out on free opportunities for their losing laners. Had he followed his own advice, he would have not gone top after killing noc at blue. Barely 2 mins after that statment, he's helping the losing laner pre 10 mins. The item advantage he is talking about allows him to invade and 1v1 noc. My issue is that he shouldn't be saying things that newer players will be taking literally when they don't have the same level of awareness/game sense as a pro player
@gohkong2892
@gohkong2892 Ай бұрын
His strategy of farm heavy/recall has nothing to do with the statment I'm referring to. His point leading up to that was my lanes are behind, so I'm going to farm and focus on bot lane. Then he tells you NEVER to gank losing lanes, then ganks a losing lane. Not sure why that's so hard for you to understand? I'm not talking about being top in general, I understand why he went into nocs jungle and was playing aggressive. My issue is he SAID never gank losing lanes then ganked a losing lane. Point: don't say "NEVER GANK LOSING LANES. ITS SO POINTLESS" when there are opportunities to gank losing lanes when you are ahead. hopefully that's clear enough for you to understand. If he said something along the lines of "only gank losing lanes when the opportunity is there" I wouldn't have a problem with it. This is why clarity is important.

This is an interesting point, because usually laners are up a level or 2. Having the item mitigates that. I dont agree about Void grubs and drakes. I have been running demolish / sheen item on shaco with TP. I dont need flash. I can split push and make cross map plays. You can argue that im not jungling at that point but my OBJ damage is very high and map control is at like masters level. I am not at all a master but that one stat is bonkers. I have been silver 2 before. I always go after VG and rift. Also if your tempo is good you can get all of them. I see you mean camp 1. I also hold my spells and think about an exit strat when im in the 'kill box' of drake or rift/baron. Your ability to kite those large camps out has me in awe to be honest and ive been doing it like 2 seasons. I can be top for example they feel safe and I can TP bot. With my R, Wards and boxes .... I can be very annoying mid and late game with non stop lane camping. I dont like to focus drakes for 2 reasons. 1 AP shaco takes forever and 2, getting 2 randos in a bot lane to do what you need/want is impossible. You pulling the drake back while contested with no vision on back of pit ... thank you for showing others this as well. As jungle you see the map in quadrants. but also think of it like keeping pressure on their side of map.

So how jungling works if you want to be consistent: fullclear (doesn't matter to where, most of the time would be top to bot tho), be efficient at clearing, after you are done and level 4, look at all the lanes and see where you can get free kills, if nothing is possible, take scuttle and base. Before starting next fullclear (if gromp/krugs haven't respawned yet), look at the lane they are closest to, if it's a freekill, take it, else go for second fullcear. After second fullclear, it's time to play for first dragon or void grubs. To know which one to play for, look at your laners, see where your prio is, think about what enemy jg wants to do and take whatever possible. Do this EVERY game and you will get to Master, at least.

You cant look at Nasus see 0-2 say its loosing lane its incorrect, Nasus is scaling lane yes you wanna leave him alone unless free kills early, but you gotta know his powerspikes if you look back at game youll notice when Nasus got Trinity force other team couldnt really 1 vs 1 him from there on they had to 2 vs 1 him, this means winning lane strong powerspike Nasus has scaled. Then you look at items who has strongest powerspike nasus or smolder, well that one comes down to stacks actually but both are actually scalers. and KDA wont determine whether they are loosing you gotta dig a bit deeper. Other than that great video, loved the teaching style and talking of your thought process. But jungler isnt as easy as people think not only do you have to know how to, know where other jungler is, also gotta know about lane matchups, ther powerspikes item powerspikes, are they scalers early game champs. You actually gotta strategize pre entering the game whether to farm up or down. Everything around this role makes it so you gotta play chess while for most laners its sufficiant to play checkers.

Thanks so much for these tips! Can I ask what to do when basically every lane is losing though?

Yeah, those concepts are clear for me. What I don't know is what to do when their Garen is 12/0, their Akali is 10/0. Because I try playing like you told us to, farming, obectives and when I blink that enemy Draven is 8/0 and I have no idea of how to counter that.

16:40 He uses his brain to consider which enemy is strongest, assess that he wants to avoid her, UNLESS there are circumstances he can gain an advantage on her. Notice he didn't just throw his hands up and claim Syndra is 30/0 and nothing he can do. That's why he's good.

I play support with my buddy who is adc and we go 10-0 before 20 min almost every game but top mid and jungle just consistently run it down and makes it extremely difficult to win , stuck silver 3 w/200 games

I literally just watched this video, then played a game, did the exact pattern. I ended up getting a quadrakill, going 13-3-3 on xin, won the game with 3 honors, and was 4 levels and 5k gold ahead of the enemy jungler. I've never ganked top so much, literally ever, just because the opportunity was there after krugs, like perry said. I tend to just keep powerfarming and really fixate on that, but changing my mentality to hurry to level 6 and get my first item completed and then start impacting the map totally changed how passively I was playing. Great stuff Perry, keep it coming!

Just want to point out that you had 3 hypercarries this game, so by just simply preventing your tier 2 towers from falling you've made the game completely unwinnable for the enemy. They can't deal with all three of them lategame.

Obviously, gold wins games, jungle is just another lane. And good tip about not ganking losing lanes, people who win their lane know what they're doing, they at least read what their abilities do.
