Trading Places (great film Jim was the partygoer in the gorilla costume), The Man with One Red Shoe, About Last Night (1986, and it still looks good), Red Heat, Curly Sue, Twin Peaks. Of course, K-9, The Principal and Mr. Destiny! NINE seasons on prime time: "According to Jim." Jim envisioned this show while still in high school, entertaining his classmates with the show's premise, best plot episodes and punchlines. (Yeah, he did.) A real original who "paid his dues" generously, never got messed up and earned his success. Somebody who cares about his projects, is always working and is known as one of the most genuine and decent guys in his business.

Belushi was a bonafide major star back in the day. How big - he's the only actor to share above the title billing with Arnold Schwarzenegger during the golden age of Schwarzenegger's career. Belushi was big enough that the makers of Red Heat put him on the poster with the biggest movie star in the world.

Larry should've asked him more about John Candy. A lot of people don't know this, but Candy was one of Jim Belushi's best friends. They were in many movies together and Candy's daughter can also be seen in many of Belushi's movies and tv shows. I think the families always stayed close. Jim once said in an interview that the only two people in Hollywood he'd do anything for were Dan Aykroyd and John Candy.

I was just thinking, what ever happened to Jim Belushi, I haven't seen him in anything I can remember for years now. So I just looked him up and found this. What a great interview, he's a cool dude, very humble, honest and proud of his brother. I'm glad he's well, I'd like to see him act, or may he is and I've just missed the boat. Still it's nice to see he getting along.

A lot of people diss Jim for not being John. Jim is deceptively laid back. However, at times there is a pending rage in his eyes. Especially, in performances in "The Principal" and K-9.

As a goofy overweight suburban, midwestern kid growing up, John Candy was my hero. Especially in John Hughes RIP 😢 movies. Every time I am dating someone new who’s never heard of him I always show them Uncle Buck on a date night. Then when they finally get done laughing they kind of look at me sideways for a second 😂makes my day every time
