Very good advises, one of the best ones I’ve heard. It seemed you did too advise yourself equally well 🤗. Liked the straightforwardness-ness and the bareness-ness 🤓. I takes effort to do this as an introvert, and yes we can learn “social” skills but we’ll be introverts below the surface anyhow, more recharging.. 10” of snow ❄️.. being at roughly the same latitude..: On the bright side, it gets brighter when dark 😄

Happy Sunday Anna and how are you. So, I never been in a relationship or marriage and I never got divorced or end in breakup, but I was rejected twice by two different women. I watched this video till the end. I'm approaching 30 soon and I done lot of mistakes in the past which I still do regret. I'm watching your videos for more than a year now and I know what's important for a right love and a marriage. So, about your situation it's very sad for you. I believe you often read the Bible and divorce was not even an option according to the commandments of God 🙏. When a man and woman married once then they are always married in the eyes of God although the couples got seperated on earth. This is what I learned few months ago and today there is much darkness everywhere. Thanks, for the video Anna and I appreciate it.

I’m glad you watched the whole video, there is much that can be learned to prevent the wrong relationship. Because as you note, some things are undoable. Be wise in your choice so you’ll have no regrets. You have time! As for the Bible, yes, I was “reborn” after the divorce but that doesn’t absolve it. It’s certainly something I struggle with and pray for guidance on. 🙏

Yes anna, we are taught to use successful people snd relationships.......but that is a flaw.........people hide their true relationship flaws and hide failures. The same goes for other aspects of their lives. We need to try to copy success with details and facts behind the success. Not success via luck or generational wealth. Identifying mistakes going forward for self and others as a roadmap is even better imho....because its a detail rich breakdown of facts and outcomes. You are providing a better insight this way.

After my last one ended i swore i wasnt gonna date again untill i cd get it right. Ive been single now several years and have done alot of work. Everything u went overvin this video, i think, was spot on 😊. Great advise if someone will take the time to do the work. Happy Sunday spicy señorita Anna ❤ You look magnificent! This was a great video to listen to for anyone who is going through a divorce or has been through a divorce. I have never been married but I was once engaged to be married when I was 22 years old. A friend of mine (female) recently got divorced from her toxic ex-husband as their marriage was already broken before I met her. I applaud her for finally taking the step to finally get it done and they have a child together. From what I know about the ex husband, he has been married two times and both marriages for him resulted in marrying two single mothers but his 2nd marriage with my friend came resulted of them having a kid together while the 1st marriage was being a step dad and no biological child. Thank you for sharing your experience on your marriage and I hope that if you do ever decide to get married it will be done the right way. The same goes for me if I ever get married, I hope to be with the woman for a long time and my parents for example, have been married since 1975 way before I was a thought lol. Sending love to you spicy señorita Anna ❤

Divorced situation: not exactly my issue. The "don't date until" list still has value for a widower, especially points 1,2,4,5. Even 3 has value if it is recast as "what could I have done better." I had been part of a couple with my girlfriend/wife since I was 20. I really never found out what it was like to be a single adult man until after she passed when I was in my 50's. It took time for me to be comfortable being on my own. Some widowers immediately look for the next wife simply because they cannot stand the sensation of not being part of a couple -- big mistake IMHO. Laying yourself open wide on this subject: absolutely special and incredibly heart-warming. I will blame no man who confesses his undying love for you as a result of this video. I get that you're okay being on your own, but if you ever change your mind, some man will count himself very blessed that you did. You are truly rare. Wars have been fought over lessor women than you. Seriously. Praying for you. -- Russ P PS/My granddaughter has a friend over with her 3-month-old puppy, so there is much furry mayhem afoot!

Sure I fancied her and chemistry was there but like you say, the long term goals were different. I also like physical touch but she never did. It hurt for sure when we split, but I thought of it like ripping off a sticky plaster on your skin. Yeah it hurts for a few seconds but it's over and done with. As I've commented once or twice before, I don't really belong here, in the sense of being in the logical target audience. I'll be 70 this year and I've been married for 49 years, so I'm not a consumer of relationship / dating advice. My longsuffering wife will be burying me sometime in the next year or twenty, and my relationship, imperfect though it may be, is rather firmly in place. But I really, really enjoy Anna's videos, and can also recommend her autobiographical "Me: a Rewrite." Anna's winsome personality comes through so clearly in these videos. Hope she keeps making them!

@YourWingmam Hey Anna! What’s your take on chemistry, connection, and attraction? Are they enough? 😆 For real though, seems like that’s all most people ever consider. And if they do consider deeper qualities, they only consider what they want, not what others want. They always want to FIND the right person, but they don’t try to BE the right person for someone else. Even after a breakup, they don’t consider what they did to contribute to it not working, they only say the other person wasn’t right for them or wasn’t right for anyone, or take the blame only for choosing the wrong person. And they keep repeating the same cycle. So your repetition is warranted. Look at yourself and learn what you can from each failure and do better in future. Very good video!

One of the biggest issues in dating today is political and religious beliefs. I'm for one non-religious and fiscally conservative. It's usually a deal breaker if you're not a Christian or on the political spectrum liberal democrat or vise versa, especially during this tumultuous time in America.

Hi, Anna. Sorry to hear of your unsettling life so far. I'm 77 and my marriage ended in divorce after 43 years. She was an only child and found the daddy figure she always wanted and left me for the man who was 10 years older than me. (She married him and he has since passed away.) I saw it coming so I was ready for the end but it still hurt after 43 years of being married. The divorce was 9 years ago. I waited to date for 3 years and it felt right to go out and explore. There is no one out there around my age, (They hide in their homes and watch nothing but bad news.) unless I go to the senior center or churches. Not my area of interest. So I have after several years resigned myself to not be able to just date. I have no interest in marriage as I have been too long alone and set in my "old" ways. 😁 I hope everything turns out well for you in your life. By the way, I have enjoyed watching your videos. Take care.

Yeah, it's an issue, for sure. I got into dating too soon after divorce because I was trying to fill a void in my life. I ended up doing a lot more (emotional) harm to myself and the women I dated, than I did any good. Lessons at the expense of people. I was in reaction mode, having been devastated by what was easily the most difficult part of my life. You really have to deal with the emotional baggage before you ever open up. I'll contend, some people aren't capable of getting past all of the emotional damage. I may very well be such a person. In retrospect, what I did was to try to plug a hole in my life without considering the emotional ramifications it would have on other human beings. If people are being honest with themselves, I think they'll realize this is the norm, instead of being the exception to the rule. This is good. You're asking people to get good in their own heads, where they're thinking clearly, before they venture off. People can't make good decisions when they're reacting instead of being cool, calm and calculating.

While I get lonely at times, there's much in my life I have to be thankful for, and it's given me much time for self reflection and learning. I love to learn things. On top of that, I raised all three of my children solo, and while they're grown, they're still a big part of my life. In the big picture, I'm really a very fortunate man to have so much love in my life, even if without a female companion.

As far as I can remember, marriage vows say something about 2 coming together as 1 and is signified by the woman taking the man’s last name. This is why taking advice from women is so difficult because you have to already have knowledge in order to sift through their bias and self-serving BS.

I really do believe another book is in your future and this could be a chapter. You can do it. You got this babe!!! Well, I guess you gave us homework so I better get to it, that way I can go outside and play later. It is an awesome 85 degrees here today. If you were here we could go for a walk in one of our parks. FYI, I also speak physical touch, so I do like to hold hands. Alright, off to watch your video again and write down all my actionables in each category you covered. You made me think again, Anna. I hope you have a good Sunday, and somewhere up in Canada you are nice and warm. You look very pretty today, Anna. Hug and a peck on each cheek, and one in your nose to warm you up. Thank you for being you.

Im 64 and have been married 34 years. I work out in a gym with a lot of younger people of dating age. One of these acquaintances shared one of your videos with me as well as one other youtuber, asking my opinion on the quality of your advice. Both of you give valuable advice, but your vulnerability and truthfulness in this video really touched me. The way you have taken accountability is so rare, as well as your desire to learn. Anna, you are a keeper. I know what one looks like because I am married to one. We are all broken. We all possess a red flag or two. If we are to have good relationships, it is not only important to find the right person, but also to BE the right person. And when we falter, to forgive and be forgiven. Im still in the learning process 34 years on. Shes worth it. God bless you Anna, and thank you for what you do.

Thank you for your bravery, Anna. 39-23? He had issues as well. (Major red flag) A relationship of a girl with her father is EXTREMELY important and can literally screw up the daughter for her entire life, if not resolved. Even if their relationship is "normal", it will often play a definitive role in how she relates to her husband (years later). Likewise, how a son relates to his mother is very telling as well. Anna, you made yourself very vulnerable today in this video. Blessings from the East Coast. (A daughter's relationship with her father = Her first relationship with a man. Likewise, a son's relationship with his mother is his first relationship with a woman. That is why it 'sets the stage' for all her further interactions with men. Very critical to her development of a healthy relationship with men.)

I disagree with the "what went wrong" view. Have an effect, sure, but so much is fluid and dynamic in changes in the timespan and evolution of a couple's union. Many many things, from a couple's respect, to economics, to sexual needs, to sudden sexual boredom, to changing extended family issues, to sudden illnesses, to........really way way too much to list. You could have exposed yourself to a far worse, choice or choices across the total timespan. Relationships are way too dynamic and fluid to expect them to remain in a form you feel comfortable with. Especially currently with today's challenges and new metrics in relationships. Don't be too hard on yourself. That said.....put the warpaint n earings back on and get up to speed with performance expectations of hypersexual sigmas and parallel with adult content expectations that are contemporary. Push that gas pedal to the floor. You only live once. Feast.....

When I filed for divorce, I had figured out what went wrong well before I prepared my escape. The word escape is key. She was a violent abuser. What went wrong is she was a violent abuser. I had tried to "solve the problem". I'm not flawless but she was well over 90 percent of the problem. I tried to "hate the sin, love the sinner". That ended up a lame excuse to stay with her and absorb more abuse and more violence. I had married her on the rebound. My first love had refused to marry me then she dumped me. That one I had to figure out after then end. And it took me a very long time to work through my own closure. I paid an extremely high price in the form of marrying a violent abuser because I was on the rebound ignoring many red flags. To me it's mandatory to learn at least one lesson from each ending. After I had learned enough lessons, when I met my wife I knew what was real. Decades later I listen to this more for advice for the grand kids than for what I should have done back in the day.

Yeah, in the throes of divorce i often felt worthless. My ex had a great capacity for doing that to me. Despite some other setbacks happening at the time, I was able to overcome some of that. However, being that a factor in divorce was sexless marriage, I ended up in an LTR with the first girl I got to enjoy. Initially, she pushed all the right buttons but somewhat soon revealed a lot of red flags. I tried to hang on - it lasted not quite 2 years - because I didnt want to fail again. However, my tenacity kept me into a worse relationship and dissolution than my previous 22 year marriage.

Look, if you don’t make mistakes in life, you’ll never learn anything. It comes down to there is no handbook or course that you can take to have the ideal relationship or marriage. That goes double for raising kids. Relationships and kids are the two hardest jobs that anybody could ever have because it takes constant work 24 seven and a lot of communications. To me, the most important thing is working together there’s no your side or my side we have to be partners for it to really work and yes with the right partner is damn worth it. Good luck Anna, I wish you and everyone else the best because everybody Should be happy in their life? Thank you for your insight. And yes you are a beautiful hot mess.

After Divorce 1. Unload your emotional baggage/ after divorce , you are on ground , just unload. 2. develop new habits but do everything consistently on daily bias. Revisiting new habit and practicing it, helps your brain to shake from typical thought process and restart your thinking first time in the morning. 3. It is wise to seek an expert or online personal therapy.

Been married and divorced 3 times. Each one different and each one seamed to be around me and my personal growth. Recently i stumbled across CPTSD. Apparently most of us that have trauma from young ages suffer from it and rears it's ugly head eventually in our relationships. We tend to self sabotage when things are going good. I would recommend looking into it if you fail at relationships alot. OMG, you went on a semen hunt? Talk about a red flag. As far as single moms, no, nonononono. No man deserves that kind of abuse. Did it once. Noooooo.

What exactly did your 2 boyfriends not do, that you wanted them to do, show you affection in public? Can you give an example? Kissing, holding hands, etc? It just seems weird to me that some men are not willing to do those things... I mean, I do see love birds some times getting a little over touchy-feely in public, which usually embarrasses other people around them, but not them, but I don’t see why holding hands should be a problem for some men? Is there something I’m missing? What did your boyfriends not do?
