One of my videos reached 11.7 million views on Facebook in two days on October 26, 2024, and I only earned $50! The previous video I uploaded on Facebook received almost 85.5 million views, and I earned $2600+, although it is less. Because the video I uploaded before that in April had 40M+ views, and I earned $3200+ from that video. I have no idea why Facebook is going crazy right now.

I'm 5 years Content Creator from Philippines, I have 3 Pages that monetize. I know the conversion of revenue is more higher on KZbin compare to Facebook. Before on Facebook: 1 million views is 100 -200 dollars, Philippines have small RPM. Now 1 million views on Facebook is 40-60 dollars!! It drastically down. This video is so BIASED on FACEBOOK, are you PAID by FACEBOOK?

I'm monetized for instream ads. 3 months ago I was getting ads on 3/4 of my posts. Now, zero ads. No strikes, no copyright, no violations. Just gone! FB still has not turned on my Reels monetization either. 10K+ followers, content is quality and all original. What do you think?

Lester I ain’t go lie to you, you did a lot as far as spreading knowledge and helping creators but Facebook is dead as far as content creation monetization goes. They just don’t have money to pay people anymore. I have 100k followers and post and don’t get 100k views. I have multiple pages in 20k and 50k and 100k and share to those pages and still don’t get $10k a month. Barely get views. They can’t pay us. And TikTok does make money! Tiktok is making thousands for creator..not the old creator fund that paid Pennie’s. I have a large page in the animal niche and make some decent cash. Plus tiktok shops are on fire right now. All the money is in TikTok right now. Facebook was good years ago

Agree to disagree my friend. I’m happy you’re experiencing success on TikTok. We have several pages doing a couple of million views per month, I document stuff on my Instagram. I know creators with 10 million followers on TikTok making $2k a month, so I guess is all about perspective. I wish you nothing but success and hopefully you keep killing it on TikTok.

@@monetanais I made $4k on tiktok this month..how is it not accurate? Chose the right niche and provide value you will have a high RPM. Tiktok pays more now than before when it was the creator fund. Also TikTok shops are on fire! Facebook you post and none of your followers see what you posted. They got so many bugs they can’t even figure out if you have a violation or not. You go to one section of the site, it says no violation and then you go to another it says you have a violation. Facebook used to be booming now it suvks! Plus the groups are gatekeepers if you want to post in a cat niche the owner of the group will never approve your post. How do you grow without wasting money paying your employer? Nah, it’s a blue ocean. Even on KZbin people think is saturated and you can’t make money. Yet, Facebook is still trying to figure out monetization and most creators don’t take it seriously. YT has had several adpocalyses in the past couple of years, yet those who stuck around saw the benefit.

If you been recently monetized you need to edit each individual video from the Meta Suite and make sure in-stream ads is turned on.

Check demographics of your top 10 videos in the last 28 days, see if they’re being recommended and to whom exactly, if the top countries are tier 2-3 it could be you need to focus on shifting to attract more tier1
