Gentlemen, I am 68 years old. My road in life has had bumps and ruts. Now, I am living the good life. Do two things while you are young, 1. Save for retirement, 2. Stay healthy.

I get that having a method helps, but nothing in life is so perfect. A lot of people are taking shortcuts and straight-up cheating and lying to get ahead. It takes real substance to be both successful and noble.
@zzzzzzzzzzz6Ай бұрын
What I do is take whatever shortcuts I can take that are not immoral or unethical, which are not likely to reduce my life by 5+ years

Living a good life is like sailing a ship. Health is your hull, wealth is your sails and lastly purpose is your navigation. Without all three working together, you'll be lost at sea

Love this. As I enter my late 20s I feel this drive I’ve never felt before. I spent so much time trying to be “comfortable” when in reality I was suffering. Now I choose my suffering by doing all the uncomfortable things I didn’t want to before. F$@& mediocrity.
@Patto-le-cattoАй бұрын
Same tho, except that I got into so much debt and isolation from my past 2 business failures lol. I still push on.
@Patto-le-cattoАй бұрын
The other difference is that I’m currently way less than mediocre. I’m honestly trash at this point. Well, at least I have who I am today, with my education and skills.
@Patto-le-cattoАй бұрын
I guess f$@& poverty and failure. But to me, nothing really matters anymore. So yeah, I push on.

I'm digging this type of content. "Manners, maketh the man". Simple statement, but it goes way deeper than that. Manners are a bi-product of ETHICS! It isn't enough to look your best. You must also perform at your best. Quote from a friend I resprect greatly: "You don't have to be perfect! Just try to be better than you were yesterday, every day............"

So inspiring! Just what I needed in times of feeling stagnant despite my best efforts. Thanks Antonio!

It's funny. As a sci-fi fan I already started using a spaceship analogy. Before you jump anywhere, you have to make sure all your systems are operational. Your structural integrity (physical health), your data processing (mental health), energy (enough sleep and food), your software is up to date (your knowledge), propulsion (habbits that move you forward in life towards the target destination), comm systems (social skills), shields (enough money set aside to weather the storms in life) etc.

Thank you sir. I needed this. Have the family and kids; but the self esteem or career/ decent income part.

I’m part of the HWP group. It’s been fantastic. During the first month alone I answered one of Antonio’s questions and in a few days got a 10x return on my investment (and I pre-paid for a year!) Then, a few weeks later Murphy came knocking but my wife and I had already taken the steps in this program to prepare. What could have been a financial disaster was an inconvenience that turned into a blessing. I can’t speak highly enough of this program.

I got into massive debt and estranged my family/friends because of my pursuit of success, but I’m only alive because of purpose. And I mean actually still here. And it’s going to keep me going.

I'm lazy and really great at procrastinating, but those won't get me to where I want to be. I've started making plans for how to start getting to where I want to be and I have noticed that the longer I look at these plans, the easier it is to see things that can happen. It's like finding a stairway in the dark; the longer I look, the more that appears.

Hey I was wondering if you (or anyone else) could offer some advice. I've been wanting to upgrade my fashion as I dress like a middle/high-schooler. I am 26 years old and only wear T-shirts and shorts. My main issues are that I have sensory issues and I overheat very easily (I believe I have autism). For shirts, I am extremely particular about fabrics. I only like a certain type of cotton (so far) and it's Costco's Kirkland Signature T-shirts. I have some 100% cotton T-shirts that I absolutely cannot stand because they feel like polyester (way too "smooth"). I am less particular about my shorts. Overall, I really don't like tight-fitted clothing and I hate pants. Just don't like the feeling of most fabrics covering my entire leg. I was wondering how I could upgrade my fashion while having all these limitations. Let me know if there's anything else I can add. Thank you.

Right? At 68, I've figured out (finally) that I have no innate talent or abilities, that if there's a meaning or a purpose to this Kafkaesque life, I haven't found it. I've come to a place that my late wife, who was 10 years older than me came to, which is waiting around to die. Oh, sure, I try to get a modicum of exercise, eat right, but other than that, naw. Taking up space. I only hope I can stick around long enough to see how badly they're going to f*ck things up.
