Hang in there please. I wrote you something once but the word counter overlord thought it was to many words. I was trying to explain what happened to me so I guess it's the short version without the lessons I learned. I was with my first husband from the time we met then lived together in the city and to buying a house in the middle of the woods in the middle of nowhere. I had only been 18 for 4 months when we met and after living together from 6 months after we met to getting married when I was 20. I was young dumb and stupid and in love with being in love. He was good at hiding his true colors for the most part for the first 3 or 4 years. But looking back I see all the warning signs I missed. He was mostly emotionally abusive and never really that physically abusive and never enough to call the cops. He really just wanted someone on his arm especially someone 8 years younger. As his true self started really coming out I still overlooked it but that because I was already used to it because of how I grew up. The only two people always in my corner were my grandma and my great great aunt. Both on my mom's side. Notice I don't mention either parent. Anyway the last two years under the same roof we were separated, but by law couldn't kick each other out. He finally moved out two days after my daughter and I got into a bad accident and the truck was a dead duck. The hospital made me turn in the paperwork at my job I had only recently been told I was going to be kept on. Thankfully even though I couldn't use my insurance or short term disability for the first 6 months of working there, because I had real paper work saying I couldn't work for awhile because since I'm so short I have to have the seat pulled all the way forward so my knees got smashed pretty bad. It was two days later that my x finally moved out established a legal address now I could keep him out. He thought he could still control me or try to anyway since now I was stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the woods. With no wheels to get around. He got a shock a couple of days later when I told him My just turned 13 year old daughter and I needed milk, I got a surprise and he got a shock when a couple of friends came over one driving there old beater well looked that way but was actually always well maintained. They were there when my x brought the milk. I talked my Dr into to releasing me earlier then he wanted to go back to work it had already been 3 weeks and the x of course hadn't given a dime. While once he was officially gone I was able to get food stamps and Medicaid for both of use and legal aid, I got to file first. All the way through things no matter how much he dragged it out or what he pulled spirit, guides, ancestors and deitys all were with me. So I went back to work. I had started making friends a little before the accident, but when I came back I truly started making them. I had planned on never being in any kind of serious relationships again. So there was one guy at work that I thought was cute, never being serious again dosent mean dead. But then he disappeared for a couple of weeks and I figured oh well he found somehow a better gig then Walmart in our very rural area and they were the main game around. But then he was back he had gone back to the west coast because his father had passed. I didn't realize he hung out with the same group of people I was making friends with. When he came back he was wearing a ring and up until then I had never been close enough to see. It was his father's and it was passed to him, in trying to look without being obvious, I thought it was on the wedding band finger. Which was probably a good thing because we became friends but I didn't feel any pressure. He never let on and neither did anyone else that he was interested in me. Everyone knew I had never planned on being in a serious relationship ever again. They finally talked me into going out one night with them all. I was actually nervous about it because I hadn't been to a bar or a club since my best friend got married 17 years before and there were 7 of us that did her bachelorette party. So they talked me into going. I picked up a friend that was going through her own divorce from a abusive jerk, that was also doing all he could to try to F her over just like my x was trying. So the whole group from work took over half the bar had a long line of tables all pushed together. So she and I sat down at one end, but then one of our other friends comes up and tells me hay why don't you go sit by my now hubby, I said duh he's married and she says duh he's not. So we moved down to the other end. He and I started talking and talked all through the night until the bar was almost ready to close. And yes since I was driving and the friend I had picked up worked nights and got premission to come in a few hours late, we became friends because we worked in departments right next to each other when I first started working there I had my availability open until 11 at night when the x moved out I changed that to 10. She came in between 8 and 12 depending on how many hours she was scheduled so we over lapped a lot. So we did a short every now and then but we drank the bar out of DR Pepper and she had to start serving us the Walmart brand which was fine with us that's what we drank at work because in the break room they were only 50¢ out of the machine. So just fine to drive and I was off the next day so plenty of rest since I wasn't used to going out especially staying out that late at anything. But he and I made a date, then another and another and before I realized it he blindsided me. He took things real slow so he wouldn't scare me off. He's the first person ever to truly break through my walls that I had been building since I was a kid, that at first I tricked myself into thinking my x had started doing that, but instead he added greatly to them. Only my daughter was aloud behind those walls. But I fell in love with him and he with me. This time it's really and truly love. Come February we will have been married 20 years. I'm not going to lie and say it's all been perfect, we have had or bad patches along the way but never because one of us cheated on the other, something we both had to face in our first marriages. But the love has always remained, it's the first time for both of us to have true love that's how we know it really is because we can let each other be who they were meant to be. We can go through bad and rough patches and make it through them to the other side and still be in love with each other going through it and on the other side. Working things out, talking and making things better not worse. So I know it's out there for sure. Just be open, that would probably make it easier, but in my case I was closed off and yet it still found me. Use your intuition take your time and go slow, make sure it really is the right one but don't be afraid. That was me as well afraid, afraid of getting even more scared. In my heart in my soul thinking I wasn't worth anything because all my life the only back up I had ever had were my grandma and great great aunt. May spirit, your guides, ancestors and deitys all watch over you guide you and help you be strong, stronger than I was that's for sure. Thank you both. You two are so cute together and you inspire and give hope. You only have to read the comments to see that. I thank you greatly I have been trying to figure out what to do on full moons night. I really have not been up to coming up with something on my own for this one. I have been slowly recovering from cancer surgery the last week of October but I was told it would take longer than I thought and would think at first. But the really heavy thing is my dad calling me in the middle of the week on Wednesday afternoon, to tell me he had stage 4 lung cancer that has already spread throughout his body. It's a fear he and I have always had. I'm 11 years older than my half brother and 13 years older than my half sister. So they never had a time when dad worked in smaller shops, garages how ever you call them where your from. I used to go to work with him sometimes, or when I was even younger than that mom and I would stop by wherever he was working at. There was so much asbestos floating around in the air sometimes when I was really little I thought it was snowing. Even after they knew it was really bad for us humans, it took the car companies in my opinion way to long to replace it with something else. But still someone brings there car in to be worked on you can't say no. My dad is a true genius when it comes to cars he started fixing them when he was 13 no one really teaching him all that much. By the time he was 16 he was working in shops after school, on weekends and through the summer. He always worked at small shops when I was a kid but there were a lot more of those back then. But also when he and mom were married he drove and did all the work on his own stock car. He raced two small tracks. He also would get old rust buckets and fix them up into prime condition and sell them eventually especially when he found his next project to do. I used to help him with those two things for what little I could do for my age. It wasn't until not long after my brother was born that he started working the night shift at a dealership. Working his way up over the years to night time service manager, then up to the main service manager and finally working days. He was with that one dealership for a lot of years. Then he went to work at another dealership as head service manger. Eventually he got fed up with the headache of being service manager. Fighting with sales constantly. Because they would be selling used cars before they got the all clear from the service department after it came onto the lot. While some states still don't have a lemon law or a yearly inspection, like unfortunately the state I live in now. I see so many cars that are accidents waiting to happen and unfortunately that means sometimes hurting other people not just the owner within, or customers being taken when buying a used car because half the time they are spending money they don't have because of their car payments to start getting that same car fixed sometimes within just months of buying. But other states got lemon laws very early and started making people get and pass inspection every year to couple of years. That's the state I'm from. Two of the laws put in place when the people still mattered to those with the power and control. But he quit the headache and went to work for a big dealership that sold a lot of high end cars, including the high end of GM before the lost that trust. A year before he could retire they stopped carrying the GM line it just didn't have the want it once did. So he found a old style shop to work his last year before he retired. But that was a long time working on cars with all that asbestos in them. Hes almost 79. Unfortunately like often happens hes had a dry cough for years, taking longer than most to get over things like colds and flu. But nothing ever showed up on a MRI. Then apparently a few months back he started coughing up flym as well and suddenly lost 25 pounds. At first they said it was pneumonia but it wouldn't go away. Finally they did a pet scan and that when they found it way to late. So all they can do is start chemo to try to slow it down and they are going to do a brain scan and if it's found there start radiation there again to try to slow it down. we have not always seen eye to eye, we have fought like cats and dogs at times. But there has always been love there even respect but a lot that happened in the difference between my life and my brother and sister. Not to mention he and I are much much to alike and that leads to butting heads. We are both stubborn as can be and will stand our ground in our beliefs. That's where we are not alike. I refuse to fall into the family trap of being like all of them and following in a lot of their ways and I have and had cousins that have felt the same. Some just leaving and just fall of the face of the earth and no one trys to look for them and they don't want to be found. Others like me that love from a distance the rest of the family, and others still that are no longer on this side of the Vail for one reason or another but almost always because of something they did even though it was painful and slow. The cousin I always had a very special tie to born on the same day him exactly 5 years younger than me. Got the family curse extremely bad. He drank himself from this world and crossed the Vail when he was only 44. I have always been a daughter of the moon, howling my pain into both her darkness and her light. Your right when you say she tugs our emotions this way and that but so does the sun with it's tug of war with the moon and our earth. With it's solar flares and CME ejections sending solar storms. They both pull and tug this way and that. They are the Lord and Lady, Sun and Moon that shine a gold and silver light to help us find our way. But they are both masters at bringing out what you have buried deep. I have been led since the start of this year to do shadow work and clear myself out give space for new things to grow. But this is bringing up lots of stuff that apparently I still haven't delt with enough. Sorry so long sorry for spilling my guts out here. But sometimes we need safe spaces to just let it all go where others can help us transmute our emotions into to light shining bright when being released so they don't land on others and bring pain, but instead if they land on another it brings light and joy to their day, so I ask please for a few to help transmute these emotions in your own ways so when released fully into the world they bring that light and joy to others instead.
