People forget it was supposed to be a valhalla dlc. It's a relatively short but Immersive game. I'm really quite enjoying it.

I think everyone knows the game is "fine" and even fun at times, but i am so excited to finally start seeing people kicking back against mediocrity as the status quo, its been a long time coming. keep up the good work though, ive been really enjoying your content so far and look forward to seeing you grow further

Thanks, I really appreciate the support! And I think that's more than fair, I hope I don't come off as a Ubisoft apologist in this video. Mirage is clearly a game that was a planned DLC that they did the bare minimum to sell as a standalone game. I think if it was a game built from the ground up to be a classic style AC game, we would've gotten a much better product. But I still really enjoyed it for what it was and wanted to share those thoughts

it was a strong 7/10 for me. I enjoyed it start to finish. really hope they give us a DLC for it soon

maybe a time jump, and the events that took place leading up to basim meeting Sigurd. could explore basim struggling with Loki wanting revenge once he finds out about Sigurd being tyr reincarnated. it would be a good way to fully wrap up that whole revenge/reincarnated isu storyline. I remember in Valhalla if u read some of the letters from hythams bureau it mentioned basim being consumed by some sort of maniacal obsession. Mentor rayhan was aware of his true identity so I wonder just how off the rails basim got before the Valhalla story took place

I'm half way through and i think this is so promising. Its not perfect but i think they did what they could do building on valhalla. I really hope they build on this and go back to do more of these games. really enjoyable.

Mirage and Valhalla are completely different games lol but both can be enjoyed in their own way imo. Gonna be a while before you finish valhalla anyway lol

Black Flag is phenomenal but let’s stop being delusional about it being a good AC game. It’s a good pirate game..but it was a really bad AC game

@raviolijesus6181 Not really. Was it Brotherhood? No, it was the start of commercialization of the brand, but it walked the tight rope pretty well, and there was heavy Assassin influence all throughout, so no, it wasn't a 'bad Assassin's Creed game', just a very liberal one.

Back in the day I had unmedicated ADHD, and it was near impossible for me to ever complete any game. Assassins Creed 2 remains one of VERY few games I’ve ever completely finished, I was so immersed in that game, I felt like I was Ezio. I think that Ubisofts biggest mistake with the series was prioritizing content over immersion.. They should have brought the story telling to an Uncharted or RDR2 level, instead of the - do this do that - bullshit.

Also, I was stoked for this game, but from what I see it’s just not quite where it should be. I might bite the bullet and buy it regardless just to bump up the sales numbers a bit to help nudge Ubisoft in the right direction lol

I LOVED AC 2. I remember beatuing it and just trying to get into all the tombs and end game because I didn't want to stop living in that world. I should really replay it to see if it still holds up. Not sure buying it to bump the numbers is the right move lol, but I would enjoy a classic AC game every once in a while
