The bike track is great... we ride from Hampton to St Kilda or Hampton heading south... weather permitting!

Melbourne looks cool! It almost looks too good to be real. Other Melburnian's, is this indicative of Melbourne?
@crackers562Ай бұрын
YES!

Melbourne's a very large city. The area shown is the inner southern suburbs along Port Phillip Bay, one of the wealthier areas but still typical of much of the metropolitan area. So, yes.

You need a better bike. No wonder you're a bit tired riding that treadley. I lived in Hampton and East Bentleigh as a kid and rode a lot around this area and along the bay.

@@elliemajelly There are lots of bike videos for Melbourne on KZbin, but this is certainly one of the better ones. Informative, entertaining and beautifully shot....with a pinch of humour. You did a great job. I;d love to see more of these bike videos on Melbourne trails. I've done many of them over the last few years. You certainly have a flare for content creation..........................oh, BTW get yourself a good set of paniers. Will make a world of difference when you have to carry stuff.

@Ozgrade3 thank you so much!! so sweet of you to comment that :) also what are paniers?
@Danger_Mouse3619Ай бұрын
@@elliemajelly panniers are luggage bags that go over the back of the bike. Like what you see on motorbikes with those side saddle looking things or they can be hard cover too on sports touring bikes.

Put a milk crate on the rack on your bike. Strap it on with an ocky strap or straps. Take off the basket as that will just make steering harder if things are in it due to weight on your handlebars. Also when windy it will make steering wobble in the wind. You can get panniers but then you have to buy some. A good old milk crate is the trick and you can just grab one from anywhere. Also it is easy to attach and not so windy effected as a basket is. Personally I think the basket is dangerous to have on the front due to weight and steering. Just my advice 👌😎
