i was actually an nba live fan until they stopped releasing games in 2010. But i'll fill in the gaps since you can't manage to do it yourself. Every 2k past 2k10 is better than anything nba live put out since Live 10.

The reason 2k17 is the worst basketball game of all time is because with the whole micro transactions bullshit, the game is basically a pay to play. And even when you do cough up the $50+ to only have one skill, and grind for hours upon hours to earn badges that get patched every other week, you still end up playing a broken MyPark game mode where centers can hit 3s from half-court and point guards can only dribble around in circles and put up bullshit shots that sharpshooters can't even hit anymore. And that's only for MyCareer, a game mode that hasn't been an enjoyable experience since 2k11 MyTeam, I haven't even bothered to try this year, because pumping thousands of dollars so you can only pull 3 worthwhile cards per $50 box is not my idea of a good time. I particularly don't enjoy risking getting permanently banned for "sniping", which is 2k's way of saying "Fuck you" to all the people who actually try to enjoy the game mode without wasting all their money. Essentially, I've given up on NBA 2K17, and I don't plan on purchasing any future titles until 2k finally has a reason to give a shit about their fans.
