It's easy to get court up in the pleasures of life having been guided by our sinful deceptive motives. This can go on until we get pulled up for it or we figure out that it's not right to ourselves or our family if we have one. The realization of sinful actions can happen in many ways and sometimes can become know to the public and can get ugly, though if the sin caused no harm can be delt with accordingly in a controlled atmosphere. Self righteousness in someone can simply be somebody who has come from a very dark place and this new place of light is overwhelmingly beautiful. Having left that bad person behind in the dark this new person now shining bright is now good, or better than before. The enlightenment one receives from being reborn into the light is sometimes overwhelming, the need to share it should be embraced and guided by "people," who understand that self righteousness and sin is part of the process of what we call life, the journey to death. The last thing anybody needs is someone in their ear spewing out words like "your a sinner, your going to hell!," or and "Ya self righteous bastard, your going to hell!" or worse being bashed for being self righteous. It's not up to you to even judge. Talk about sins. Check the add that was on after this video, at least I will have a hard on for the show.... Just shows how much substance being self righteous has over pure evil. People are too worried about finding a scapegoat than going directly to the remedy that in most cases is simply something people don't do or they don't won't to do, like help the person in need, someone always knows a way but they would prefer to belittle and shame to maybe make them selves look better or just laziness. I know I would prefer to be self righteous than arrogant but hey, that's a lonely world.

God gives us free will.. and he respects our choice.. so you say you don't want to end up in hell, but you end up choosing it every day.. hell is eternal separation from God, and being apart from God means living hell 💔 now, the question is not how God can save you, but how you might choose differently.. can you identify what it is about repentance that you dislike? for some, it may be a sense of shame, reminding them they're less than perfect.. for some being wrong can negatively impact their sense of self worth and they hate that feeling, for others who may have prior unpleasant "religious" experiences, to "repent" may mean unfair enforced punishment.. idk what it is for you, only you know.. True repentance is rather basic.. it's a sincere apology and grieve for our wrongs before God and to acknowledge verbally what we know to be true in our hearts.. it's between you and Him only.. and he loves you, and he knows your innermost thoughts and desires..
