@D J You’re absolutely right☺️ My moms friend had a crazy testimony about her relationship with her husband. They got pregnant young and got married when they were unbelievers. A few years into the marriage, the woman got saved but her husband wasn’t. In fact, he was cheating on her and living a life for Satan. So the wife found out about his behavior and decided to start driving toward an attorney’s office to discuss divorce options. Halfway through the car ride she heard Gods voice saying “turn around!! don’t go!”. So she turned around and went home and realized her husband had already moved out. She was devastated and thought maybe she heard of the voice of the devil instead of God. Less than a month later, her husband returned home in tears and apologized to her and told her all about he found God. They’ve been happily married ever since!

I was actually thankful because I didn’t know what to do. Wish I could share my testimony! I just want to say that After leaving my job this week God gave me the fullest explanation of why being uncomfortable in life is SO awesome❣️ once he draws you in and you have the deepest trust everything else is just icing on the cake. Not confused! Both pruning! The frustrating part is that we haven't been able to connect or have a solid conversation. Fear ( nerves)had me afraid to make eye contact. Then one day the holy spirit revealed to me that I was required too. I had no idea that he was nervous as well. He is a shy timid guy and I am the confident lion ( lol) so God convicted me to make the eye contact first and when I did, we BOTH knew, it was an INSTANT spiritual pull. Allow the spirit to lead you because some people will run when they have been hurt bad. 😪

@Luka thanks for your advice, however, I have prayed and fasted several times concerning this person, and I believe the Lord has confirmed he is my spouse outside what I've heard on own. As it pertains to people in the bible and their love stories, each one love story is unique. I believe the Lord had a specific purpose for each one, and He has a specific purpose for mine as well. So I am not going to compare my personal experience with anyone else's, as the Lord has different plans for all of us and He chooses how He will glorify himself in various ways in everyone's life. He's the potter, I am just the clay. Also, I know a few people whom the Lord revealed their spouse years prior to both individuals coming together! So yes! it is possible for the Lord to reveal one's spouse, even before one is ready.

Where in the bible does it say that God will send you a destined spouse? I heard from the late Dr. Myles Monroe that God doesn't choose our spouses for us. However the bible does say to acknowledge Him in all our ways so that he can direct our paths. And most definitely he will let you know if someone is good or bad for you or not of his kingdom. It is up to us to listen and be obedient to what he says.

Like, obviously, if I’m on my death bed and I look back and a relationship doesn’t work out, OBVIOUSLY it wasn’t of God, but at that point it’s a bit late, no, and super obvious… after the fact. So repeating “if it doesn’t work out it wasn’t of God” is a moot point, because while we are actually In the relationship/on and off/going back and forth, we don’t know if it will work out in the end.
