Growing up, Anthony Mariniello wanted to be an astronaut. Now he's the North American Business Manager for Nordmann Global, and also the 2023 Chair of the Rubber Division. Instead of launching to space, he became an engineer to satisfy his love of solving problems. And to him, "chemical engineering seemed to be the one that encompassed the most areas. You can go into all the different types of disciplines relatively easily."
For him, the American Chemical Society expositions are a chance to get their business recognized by prospective customers. Getting active in the Rubber Division was a way to expand and deepen the connections with other people in the chemical industry. He could learn from them and help others find a place at ACS as well. And that's why he's #ProudToBeAChemist
