This is so true! I changed my life now at 28. I have 3 cars (including my dream car a mustang) all paid off, 0 credit card debt, no student loans, 791 credit score (which I don’t care much for) the only debt I have is my mortgage. I achieved all of this by applying this principle you are teaching here! It definitely works. I plan on paying my house off way before 30 years.

Money is a tool, and tools are used to build, but tools can also be used to destroy. You determine how the tool is used. You can use money to destroy your life, or build it up, but it’s all in your control. Money is like a seed. I must put the seed in the ground for it to grow, but if I eat my seed, then there will be no harvest, because nothing is in the ground. Use your jobs, income tax, stimulus checks, as seeds to grow a better future. Jobs were meant to be stepping stones to get you to the next step in your life, not for you to trap yourself in them with negative money management choices. (This was for me)😅 Don’t eat your seed! I loved that you put paying the tithe in there. That’s beautiful! Awesome video! As a single man in Christ you definitely “learned” me something. Keep going with the content!

Don't loan anyone, ANYONE MONEY ! EVER ! Don't get Married either ! Always have a personal emergency saving account or cash saving in a secret place ( NOT in the bed room that's the 1st place someone looks) Get an inexpensive, dark color, large flash light and put cash in the area where the batteries go and keep it in the Laundry, garage, under the sink etc... Hide in items that are things nobody would steal. Use ugly items. If you have a small locked money box don't keep it with your office or bed room; keep it hidden under messy towels and cleaners, under the kitchen sink or the bottom of the kitchen trash under the trash bag or an old paint can with the lid hammered on tight. Get smart about it. This lady is giving people really good advice so please take her seriously and get smart with common sense. Best wishes everyone and stay safe !

I have learned self control. Paid off two major credit cards to a zero balance. To keep the accounts active I only charge gas ⛽️ on one. Pay it in full every month, before the due date...the other card I use it to pay my phone bill every month. I also pay that in full. The key is to keep the accounts active with purchases I would have to make anyways with my cash. I need gas for my car & I need my phone for communication. I pay with cash for everything else!!! I only want credit cards to build my credit, not to put me in consumer debt. 2020 Opened my eyes 👀. Thanks 🙏🏾 to God I got the message loud and clear! Save, save, save & Stay out of debt!

I made the decision to not buy any spring or summer cloths or shoes or fall or winter cloths this year nor pay for any activity that doesn't help my book writing business current book writing projects and I it must be a super discount price. My income tax will not get spent unless it is for essential needs or an investment assett that can bring me more money. I told my husband I will not be getting fishing license this year unless we are fishing to feed ourselves and will take the fish home and eat it. Homegirl going to be sitting on nice little saving by the end of this year, I already have alot of my stimulus saved and put away. 😊

I loved this one! I seen myself most definitely. I'm a giver by nature. But I've since taught myself how to be more selective when doing so. I stopped giving to all and I give to those I know need and deserve it, and that would do the same for me if I was in need of it. Game changer indeed for me!

Keep a small note book with a monthly list of how much you paid for each utility bill, rent, mortage, insurance, vehicle expenses, food, etc... and estimate how much you have to put aside for each bill ,each month, from the previous month's bills and sometimes the season of the year matters if your electric/gas bills go up or down. Set aside money each payday so your bills will be covered for the month ( you can use an envelope system, where you label the envelope for each bill/expense that you put the money into) Always estimate higher than what you think the bill will be. If you have money left over at the end of the month, it could go into savings or for a treat unless you need it for something else or put it toward the following month. Never spend your bill money for anything but bills and make this the priority. This means taking care of you FIRST. Make yourself and your family a priority. You could also use left over bill money to buy emergency food items at the grocery: peanut butter, canned food, rice, etc... to stock up. Try to save money every month even if it's a small amount, build it up. One day you'll have an emergency and that little fund will be there. Remember our wants and our needs are different. We don't need everything we want. Build relationships. There re a lot of activities we can do with others that cost nothing or very little but the experience of our family and friends can leave a warmth in our hearts that can't be purchased. Best wishes everyone. Listen to Lynn she's giving great advice and support to all of you ! It's called "Maturity" and "Common Sense".
