I have 3 cats, so I have 3 heating pads so they each have a warm spot to lay (I turn my heater off when I go to sleep, so it can get pretty chilly in the house overnight). One of my cats will get up from the heated spot she's in and move to where I was just sitting. I just let her have the spot she claimed, and move to somewhere else, but I never knew it was a way she shows affection. Thank You for this info.
