I wonder if this means No Way Home made those deleted scenes canon. It certainly would have added to the fact that Andrew's and Tobey's Peters wanted to prevent Tom's from making the same mistake they did against Green Goblin. Tom's Peter was on the verge of going down that exact same path, given he was no longer pulling his punches in that fight. Imagine how much more satisfying the older Spider-Men's redemption would've been with that deeper context. Also, Webb's original version of the scene just would've been more comic accurate. In the comics, after Gwen died, Spider-Man went ballistic on Green Goblin, nearly beating him to death before coming to his senses and restraining himself. In the theatrical cut of TASM, we just see Harry suddenly in Ravencroft, but no real sign of how Peter's feelings towards Harry have evolved in light of Gwen's death. It would've been nice for them to play that out, considering they were once good friends and all.

It really adds to the Cyborg scenes that are already perfect with Ray Fisher's, Joe Morton's, and Karen Bryson's emotional performances. The music carries you to those highs and lows; the triumphs and tragedies. I can't believe they'd remove those scenes and substitute Junkie XL's score with Danny Elfman's rushed and generic attempt (no offense to Elfman, but his style just did not suit what the film was going for and it was very clear he was hired at the last minute).

i just made it more like ZSJL, but mark webb's was beautiful for a spiderman movie. However, this is if zack snyder edited after all. not that he doesn't use vibrant colors in his movies if it's the right kind (sucker punch, guardians of gahoole) so who knows he might've used a similar color palette.

Surprisingly after this film was released, Marvel went ahead and gave Gwen the same powers as Peter and put her in a different part of the Spiderverse. For the new version of Infinity war and Endgame that I’ve written, I have considered putting the Ghost-Spider into my new R-rated version of those films.
