In a bid to ensure food security for residents, The leadership of ifako ijaiye local government has operated the latest edition of its routine 50 percent discounted food market
Another set of beneficiaries gathered at the council secretariat to purchase rice , yam, beans , eggs, Groundnut oil, palm oil , noodles, pepper and other essential food items.
Relevant council officers said the intervention aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship, adding that the programme will be sustained for a long while
