This is not dust . It is fluff , particles of the textile . All dryers extract fluff from clothes and textiles, which means a lot of wear and tear . No doubt that clothes life cycle reduces .

Same happens in washing machines as well, except it gets washed away or gets attached to the clothes itself. Which is what we remove from the clothes using lint roller

Since I have a machine with a similar Halo Of Heat architecture, not really. The thermal cutouts on these are quite sensitive, even overloading them slightly will cause the high limit safety thermostat to open up.

Yes no doubt a clothes dryer completely dries our clothes without the hassle of drying on clothes lines, but the service centers for IFB are bad. Under AMC they won’t change any parts, they manage to repair for it to work. The moment you don’t have AMC then start paying huge amounts to change parts. I just paid &5500/- for motor and still it’s not drying clothes. They refuse to entertain my calls. Earlier 2500/- for heating components.

I also had very bad experiences with IFB authorized service centers and company call centers. Despite having AMC, whenever people visit for service, machine parts used to become faulty. We paid them about 15k in 2 years just for repairs + Amc, for a machine which cost 25k. Complaining to the call center never helped. After lots of complaints and downtime, I just threw away their machine and bought a new one of different brand and it's been working fine for the past 4 years.

Im using this from past 2 years.its good to have for all homes.better to dry clothes outside. But its noisy.i particularly get very annoyed by noise. I have placed to keep it in my customized wooden cabinet to reduce noise.

That is not dust which you were cleaning, that is the lint that has come off your clothes. That is why these dryers reduce the life of your clothes.

Pure woolen stuff whether blankets or sweaters CANNOT be dried in dryer wlthout serious damage . Pure wool cannot tolerate high dry heat
