i recommend gum.mp3, and a lot of this mix are genres that came from chicago like footwork or chicago house

as far as music to look up, i would suggest genres like miami bass, ghettotech, detroit techno, ghettohouse, chicago juke/footwork, space age pop, lounge.. honestly, it's a really diverse set.. it'd be hard to pinpoint everything but those are a couple things to look up. As far as artists.. a couple off top I would say try - DJ Louie Vega (for the house-y global influenced stuff) - telepopmusik, cfcf, stereolab (for the space pop/lounge vibe - there's a lot of varied sounding albums between these artists so be warned it might take some shuffling to find the vibe.. but good all around regardless) - HiTech, Sansibar (for the ghettotech and miami bass sounds) - DJ Rashad (for some classic juke/footwork stuff) - Mr. Oizo (for some of the more experimental techno stuff) or Machinedrum (for some varied electronica + lyrical stuff). Hopefully this helps out a bit
