i really like the style of your reviews. unlike many of the big budget reviewers out there i can exactly imagine how a headphone or amp will sound based on your descriptions. would be awesome if you could review the ZMF Caldera at some point. it seems to fuse many aspects you liked about the HS100SE and the Atrium

I’m torn between this and the Fiio R7 and R9.I have a few Ifi products ,including several of their ipower products and an ican pro amp.Plus i have two Fiio Daps including the M17.So I’m curious if the Neo competes with Fiio’s desktop all in ones

Is it worth upgrading from iFi Zen stack (DAC +Can) to ifi audio neo idsd dac 1st version?

NEO iDSD 2, yes. NEO iDSD original, no.

I haven't heard the ZEN DAC 2. Compared to the original ZEN DAC the NEO iDSD2 is a much better dac.
