hearn's opinion about ward v kovalev outcome is wrong - the ref couldn't have give him a count because he didn't touch down - there was no standing 8 count in the rules. kovalev was sat on the ropes (not touching down), facing the ground in a submissive mission - not in a position to continue. the blows were not low anyway - they were on the belt line, which was just below the navel - nowhere near the 'privates', it's the lowest of the abdominal muscles. hearn is also wrong saying kovalev lost his motivation that he had versus cleverly - this was the biggest fight of his life and he hated ward and wanted to end his career. he just got exposed as a front runner bully, which is his true personality. one of the magnetic things about why i love boxing is that the right opponent will always expose the truth - you can't hide in the ring. kovalev finally fought someone good enough and motivated enough who he couldn't intimidate, and he crumbled. classic bully.

How do they not know about the Canello/GGG PPV situation? It clearly says on their website "live on PPV" and all other fights on their schedule say "live @ (a time, such as 7pm). I think that's a really bad move for Box Nation! If they're going to start charging for PPV events *on top* of a subscription, i can see everyone cancelling their subscriptions.

Box Nation is included in BT Sport subscriptions, but it's also available as a stand alone subscription for those on Sky and Virgin. Those customers are the ones who are getting fucked over because they pay £12 per month purely for Box Nation, and now Box Nation want to charge for PPV on top of that! But i agree, if you're subscribed BT sports then it's just like Sky Sports and Sky Sports Box Office because you get football and other sports, and one or two decent boxing matches on Sky Sports. But to pay a subscription for a 100% boxing channel and then have to pay for some events on top of that? I can see a lot of people cancelling their Box Nation subscription now.

The football analogy was terrible because Ward was no the equivalent of 4-0 up when the stoppage happened. The first fight was very close, and the second fight was very close until Ward hit Kovalev with 4 low blows in one round. Shocking stoppage and it's ridiculous to assume Kovalev was done. At no point was looking as hurt or tired as Froch did in first Groves fight, or AJ in Wlad fight. Look how those turned out. It's ludicrous and we should see a third fight to be honest
