Sugar knew Fury was losing. The gist of what he said in Fury’s corner before the 12th was he needed to take him out. He didn’t explicitly say that, as the rounds were close, even if the fight was not. But it was strongly implied. I can understand why Fury thought he won and we also know why Warren and Hearn had the score as they did. He’s in the ring giving it his all and fighting an even better fight than in the first fight. But if/when watch the fight over again, you’ll start to understand how Usyk won and why the scores came in as such. Usyk was the ring general; he had effective aggression throughout; his defense was on point; his punches were cleaner throughout and he was just way more precise with his punches. Again, Fury did a great job trying to control the fight and sometimes he did, but most times not. Fury wanted to control the center of the ring. That’s where he had most of his success in the first fight. But Usyk slowly pushed him back over and over. It was masterful footwork and body and head movement. Simply amazing. The body work on Usyk’s part was sick. So precise, so sharp and his positioning was perfect. And Usyk dictated the pace. Fury doesn’t want to fight at that pace. It was amazing to me that he didn’t gas completely, considering the weight. Fury needed a slower fight to win. That also was a problem for him. So, while Fury did a lot of things right, Usyk was still winning the majority of the sequences and even those that Fury won, Usyk always returned fire and struck him numerous times in the process. That impresses judges, as it should. And Usyk did focus on ends of rounds. Maybe not in the flashy way SRL did when he lost, I mean won, to the Marvelous One, but nonetheless. But it wasn’t about stealing rounds, it was realizing from the first fight that Fury slows and loses concentration in the last third of the rounds. That’s evident in the first fight. It was clear in the second. I don’t get robbery talk at all. Folks, let’s just stop the nonsense. You just saw one of the all-time greats at any weight beat a man 6” taller, 50lbs heavier with a huge reach deficit of about 7”. And that big man was an elite heavyweight champion that many said was unbeatable in any era. Usyk did this twice. And the second fight he was even better than the first! This accomplishment is historic. So, again no more nonsense. Just be glad you got to see Usyk fight, because as you speak about Floyd or Manny or RJJ, your kids will be speaking about Usyk. And that would never happen if Fury didn’t bring out the amazing fighter that he is. And let’s also remember: Fury won’t be a footnote in history. He’s a main player in Heavyweight division for the books. But Usyk is a historic talent. That’s something to see.

This wasn't a very hard fight to score tbh. I think AI got it right and the judges didn't have it wide enough. Watched it twice now and it's hard to give Fury more than 2 rounds.. When I scored it live I had it 9-3 for Usyk, after watching it back I think 10-2 is a good score too. Round 1 was super close but I gave that to Fury. Fury clearly won round 5. It's really hard to give him any other rounds, but round 3 and 4 are close rounds that could be scored 10-10. Every single round from 6 and onwards is Usyk's round. Round 12 is close, but no way Fury won it. So ye I think AI was spot on with a 6 round margin. I really don't even think it was a very close fight. It was a chess match, but with a super clear winner in a dominant display.

Not so fast: Usyk didn't just beat Chisora. He used Chisora to outsmart the entire HW division. Usyk made himself appear vulnerable versus Chisora, and Joshua took the bait. He gave AJ false hope, intentionally. Then beat him x2. Usyk, All-Time Great.

Me and you just of been watching a different fight... The first half of that fight was all fury... Fury absolutely won that fight last night.. usyk stepped it up in the second half but fury adapted.. fury certainly won rounds 9,10 and I gave fury the first 5 rounds.. he was dominating! He was actually out boxing the man everyone said he couldn't outbox.. all of uysks shots came from outside range and fury used his jab so brilliantly in the first 6 rounds. I absolutely thought usyk won the first fight but imo last night was an easier fight to score.. and fury absolutely won that fight... And the scorecards giving usyk 8 rounds is embarrassing.

At the end of the day your aim in boxing is to take away your opponents strengths and use your assets and hit and not get hit. And in all of those metrics fury was all over uysk until round 6. There's such a thing as effective and in effective shots.. and usyk didn't land a single effective shot until round 6. That's all because of the brilliant work fury was doing! And exactly what fury didn't do in the first fight.. he actually made his reach, height and weight advantage count unlike fight 1. Tyson fury absolutely won that fight, for me it wasn't even all that close I had it fury 8 rounds to 4 and even scoring it the harshest way I could possibly do I had it a draw at 6-6. I cannot make a simple argument for usyk winning that fight. Usyk for the first time did not have an answer for what was in front of him until round 6 when fury slowed down. Usyk is always able to adjust and he couldn't.. he couldn't close the distance.. he wasn't using his body shots enough until the second half of the fight, everything was at the range fury wanted it to be.. And for me the simplest way to put it is when usyk started to take control... Fury had an answer. Usyk didn't.

While I was hopeful about his trainer, I have stated for the longest time that Sugar Hill is all wrong for Tyson Fury. Fury lacked the specific footwork, tactics, technique, and skillset needed to defeat someone like Usyk. No one will ever outbox Usyk. However no one should ever be too simplistic in fighting Usyk. Someone like Fury still needs a mildly diverse strategy in order to defeat this southpaw. More importantly, Fury showed no aggressiveness in the early and mid-rounds. He should have actively pursued Usyk and he did not.

Well I would say usyk won if it was down to twitching or disco dancing a lot of his shots missed or blocked by fury I wouldn't say usyk convincingly won more of a draw or win for fury besides fury having a disadvantage of carrying more weight over the 12 rounds at that pace and if usyk is a middleweight what was Mike tyson who was a smaller man than usyk and who convincingly demolished bigger men than him the judges must of been in the pub before they came round to judge the fight or corrupt you could give fury the win as much as you could give usyk the and at best a draw no wonder they say there's corruption in boxing
