Love this video, you're passion for the subject matter is very infectious ... I watched this several months ago and off the back of your very positive review I went ahead and purchased the tripod! With Ifootage UPRISE indicates that the tripod features a Center Column and the TC3B does NOT have a Center Column. I would suggest that you revise your headline to remove the word Uprising. BTW I have one with the MP30 Ball Head to swap out for the Fluid head when the need presents. It's a fantastic travel tripod and with either head it will fit completely within supplied tripod bag.

Great review, but my only concern is the maximum height. I typically interview people standing up at conferences. I need a tripod I can fit into airline holder bags for conferences across Europe. Any ideas?

There are cheap aluminium photo tripods available that have a handle to extend the height even more.

I would 100% buy this instead of the TT09. I have that one and it had been a massive dissapointment. No smooth panning at all and the center column removal is horribly designed with having to unscrew a tiny screw that is prone to get stuck and destroy the entire mechanism.
