@@AdamOnRS it got patched but is still TECHNICALLY possible, albeit still very difficult. You basically need to mess with your camera settings just to make the jump. Type “volcano manor jump after patch” and you should be able to find a video explaining how to do it.

Don't know if the farum azula part works anymore. I've used the key to tp there, then to perfumers grotto, then exited the game and just spawned at perfumers grotto. Granted, I have been doing other things in this playthrough that may or may not have effected any of this, but from what I've tried, it didn't work for me, but a wonderful video nonetheless!

Whoever is having trouble with somber 7, skip to where the guy shows the warp to farum azula, there will be a bell bearing that will allow you to buy the somber 7, 8 and 9 👍

The wrong warp to azula may have been patched but you can still get it to work. Try warping to round table and timing the quit out to different speeds. It Hass to be 100%. When you quit out they take several tries at different speeds.

That’s probably been patched too. Tried the roundtable after the perfumers wrong warp didn’t work. Anybody have a wrong warp that will work? I’m on NG+3 trying to speedrun through the game just to get a different ending

for anyone trying this the wrong warp still works. 1. go to the four belfries and travel to crumbling farum azula 2. once you are there travel to round table hold, once the loading bar is at about 100% force quit the game. once you load in you should be teleported to crumbling azula. it might take a few tries but it does work

The Godfrey skip doesn't seem to work anymore on ps5, just a heads up. No matter how fast you are at start, it never let's you past the door. Everything else works great!

thanks for explaining all of this! something about torrent: "mashing" sprint is suboptimal since he stays at max speed for a little bit after the initial press. unsure of the exact timing but it'll save you from carpal tunnel. would it be faster to just buy the smithing stone 3 from iji instead of getting it at the academy? or does the runes saved matter more in the end? it is most definitely faster to upgrade the hatchet at iji instead of roundtable hold because iji is closer to the warp spot

You might be right about the timing on torrent, I'm honestly not sure. As for the stone in the academy we grab that one to optimize the rune spending yes, we need to keep the runes to level up a little more.

FYI if you're on last gen then don't bother since hoarfrost stomp doesn't work most of the time. A common fix is to go to settings and prioritize framerate but since last gen doesn't have that option we'll need to wait till they patch it.

@PBJ i used the hoarfrost stomp on the +12 nagibaka or whatever for the godskin duo on ps4 pro & it worked fine. which it could just be different for everyone

@@johnreaper3365 its based on fps. If you go into a place that doesn't have lag then it will work. Thats why its more difficult on last gen since there is no option for prioritizing fps. In the Maliketh boss room the side with the door is laggier than the other side probably because of the tree sentinel so if you want to use hoarfrost stomp then you need to go to the other side of the room and stay there

It’s still works on PS five you just have to quit out really fast. It Hass to reach 100% right as you put out on the loading bar. If you start about 70% or vary your speed of button presses it might take several tries to get the timing.

Is there a consistent way to keep Elden Beast stuck? It always seems to move at about half health. I got it the first time watching this yesterday, but I can't get it to work again.

You need to keep the damage on the elden beast and it is an rng thing apparently. It's pretty important to get the fight with radagon down so you can get attempts on the beast more regularly. If you stop to drink potions whilst you're attacking the beast it can also screw you. You want to try and drink potions as you run around the back of him if you need to use them.
