Our company entered into a maintenance contract with customer the contract date is jan 21 however in order to fulfill it we bought some equipment did some accommodation set up and hired some additional staff can this be treated like the sal and set up cost as cost for fulfilment and can be capitalise as the equipment will be treated as PPE, can salary and accommodation set be considered under 15:95 of ifrs 15? Please suggest

Hello, thank you for this video session on IFRS 15. I have one query if you could answer... I have investor with whom I have a contract stating that I will be receiving 4% commission as & when Investment will get exited..this 4% will be calculated on exit proceeds..Please suggest if I can recognize this commission in my books...is this covered under IFRS 15?

No as amount from investment is uncertain. 4% of what? value of investment can be fluctuated at any time it means payment is not identified.

Both are equally valued but CPA is more focused toward US Accounting standards and Governance, if you don't have plans for moving out to USA/ Canada then ACCA is also a good option! Will make a video on this soon
