It strikes me as so weird and impractical to have the banishment thing work the way it does for Raylas village. Banished traitors can still access the village but now they are invisible meaning that a single traitor could pretty much wipe out everyone he wants or lead a human army into the town for a slaughter. They could have much more easily just adjusted the spell letting you into the town in the first place so that the traitor could not get in.
