Where do u quote the 1st dfnition of IRR from? Why does this mthd of clculating IRR not work with other cmbination of outlays & cash flows?

The 1st bullet point is just for the explanation purposes whereby it is stated that IRR is used to measure the return on any investment. IRR is basically calculating using the equation stated in 2nd point. IFT Support Team
