Darius used to be strong even as a support pre re-work, which is... too long ago. The hook is shit, but the fact that he can insta chunk half your HP bar if you get in range puts a lot of pressure.

Had a match where 25 minutes of a 33 minute game was spent with the enemy team trying to siege my control ward that i put in river brush after my first back. Every opportunity they'd find they would try for it and we'd protect it down to the last man. We won that game because the enemy would just die over and over again going for that damn ward. It finally fell around the 27 minute mark though.
