@@BearsNGym. ig series droids programming can be copied(ig-88a did it and activated ig-88b,c+d) so if that's been done boba would only need a replacement memory core

It would be really stupid to add this in with little explanation. What reason would Mando have to carry his parts in the first place? And how would he even know where to find them too?

I LOVE that they gave IG-11 the same weapons the IG-88 action figure came with in 1980!

Hard to tell who would win in a fight between IG-11 and HK-47. Would be a hell of a fight to watch (and would be sad to see one of them go, if not both).
@watch50er2 жыл бұрын
IG-11 before his reconstruction would have annoyed HK-47 whom is a hunter with a mission beyond the kill. HK picks his kills to get the most results out of the target’s death effectively calculating and banking on the sociological response to basically keep the galaxy in order. Not an in the moment and simple subsistence super turret that IG- acts like (even though his movements and targeting are precise and waste nothing) While HK would dislike IG being a nurse droid more (unless he respects the need to protect and nurture the child) the door was now opening for IG to evolve a personality that could comprehend and appreciate the ripple effects of a single drastic action, how to predict eventualities, and how to benefit from them. And not at least learning how to hunt the way HK does would perhaps be the most distressing for HK. As for combating each other I suspect HK’s more varied arsenal would help and his tendency to not mess around by relying on blasters and would go for ion weapons/stunners if he really wanted IG dead.

One thing I like about 'Star Wars' droids is that they often have that METAL MACHINE look, rather than that ultra-sleek, Apple Store like look of the androids/synthetics of other sci-fi 'universes'.

Exactly, they look like actual robots and not like.. for instance….. like in “I, Robot”

Great to see the IG unit get some focus. I've always been intrigued given the inclusion in the Empire Strikes Back (all those bounty hunters are iconic!)

Not to detract from how efficient IG-11 is but I just realized that after Din gets his full beskar set, the need to look for cover seems to have disappeared in all of the Mandalorian seasons and the Book of Boba Fett.
