This video was extremely helpful as I'm currently trying to decide between this Milwaukee M18 Mower and the EGO Power+ Select Cut LM2156S. I currently have a few other Milwaukee products, plus I like the design of the Milwaukee mower. I just wish it wasn't 1k. But, after watching your video, I believe my decision has been made. I will need an edger and blower later, so it's makes since to use the same M18 battery system.

Man I wish it wasn’t 1000$ either. I justified it because I waited years and the batteries by themselves are expensive.. that’s only justifiable if you would have bought the batteries anyway which I may not have.

I have a Toro with a Kohler engine, and every year I need to breakdown and clean out the carburetor that has been clogged up with residue from using 10% ethanol gas. I just found a station this Spring that sells ethanol-free 91 premium so I’ll give that try. However, we are heading in a battery-powered direction for lawn care and for better or worse CA, in reference to the video link you posted, signaled the future on so many other fronts in the past. So thanks for the review. This Milwaukee mower is impressive and as I have Milwaukee battery-powered tools it will be an easy decision when the time comes.

I too am in California and I thought I would sell my Honda now before it’s “illegal”. I’m pretty impressed with it, I’ve done my yard 8 times and it’s showing 3 bars of battery

Thanks for your great detailed review! A review on the Home Depot website had concerns about the lowest height of cut being 1.5 inches and not 1 inch as advertised - any truth to this?

I would like a reviewer any reviewer of this machine mow a yard with some grass. You got the thick grass part right here but that was a postage stamp patch of grass. I'm looking for run time on 15k square feet of actual grass not the brown dormant stuff all the other people mow with this machine.

I’ve been close to buying the ego many times. The Milwaukee has been featured as April fools jokes in the past and I always wished they made one. Ego is still great.

Man, I wish I was rich. I used to be a landscaper and I would have been happy to use this, it works every bit as well as my Hondas I’ve used for the last 15 years.

Yea I’m not sure how accurate that is. I’ve done my yard 3 times with it and the battery is still “full” I’d be interested to see how long it works cutting actual grass once a week.
