HOW TO COOK IGADO (exact ingredients below)
Igado is a popular Ilocano dish made from kasim and pig’s innards such as liver and heart. The meat and vegetables were cut into strips and simmered.

Ingredients:
Pork kasim
Pork liver
Pork heart
1 pc medium potato
1 pc small carrot
1 pc small bell pepper
4 cloves of garlic
2 pcs. medium onions
2 tbsp of fish sauce
2 tsp of ground pepper
1 small can of liver spread
3 tbsp of vinegar
3 to 5 pcs of bay leaves
2 tbsp of Annatto oil
1 small can of green peas
Ingredients for Marinating the Pork innards:
3/4 cup of soy sauce
1 small can of pineapple juice
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 tsp of ground pepper

Anyare sa pinagbabaran mo ng meat? Did you drain the meat from the marinating sauce and throw it away? Or did u sauteed na meat with the sauce added?

Hi po,gustoko po gayahin luto nyo mukhang masarap po..but imjust wondering po kung ok lng na isang oras din i-simmer ung atay ksma pork?kc sabe nila kukunat at titigas atay kapag niluto ng matagal???sana po mabasa nyo po comment ko..kc gsto ko po sana gawin to bukas....tnx pi

hi charisse tnx sa panonood anyway sinama ko sya para deretso na, tama po ang iba bka nga tumigas, ang ginawa ko kasi manipis po ang hiwa kaya ok lang pero kung gusto mo ihuli ok lang para tender sya talaga :)

Medyo matagal po pala siyang isi-simmer. 1 hr. Ask ko lang po, hindi po ba overcooked na ang atay nun? Matigas po kase ang atay kapag overcooked.

My Mom love this. I love it too. We used to eat together she gave me a treat whenever she receives money from my sister abroad. We usually have it in Dagupan city. Sad she is now in heaven
