I wholely disagree. The Vinca coming on when moved is amazing. Far from a flaw. Pick it up and measure.

Why on the more expensive brand did you retest the results 3 more times compared to 0 on the cheaper? Confirmation bias much. Keep doing the test until you get the results you want and that is the one you pick lol

there isn’t really a difference in precision between 20$ calipers and 40$ calipers. You’ll notice differences between 20$ calipers and 120$ calipers. A higher end caliper will not only be extremely precise and made of superior material and technology but those tools will me machines to an extremely high tolerance and will have the right temper in order to stay accurate for as long as possible.

I have a fairly imprecise 3 usd aliexpress one. not sure weather i really need more tbh, if it only were metal though. If precision is costly, maybe spend money on hardened tools, so they atleast live a long life

What I have found is cheap calipers are still pretty accurate, I do prefer to have metal though. The Vincas showed in the video are very good! And I think they are only $23
