The interviewed man just burst the interviewer his bubble. He said he knows for sure the Onitsha came from Benin. Even the Igbos, came from Benin (10:57) and he said, basically there is no doubt in his mind!!! The interviewer was "speechless"

The person interviewing this man need to be more professional in asking detail question about Igbanke. He should and prepare for the next time. In Igbontor for example, we have Idumu-Igwe, Ngbidi and Ogidi-Igbo Market. Please come next time prepared and visit all nooks and crannies of Igbanke. We are actually camelio intense of where we are...... The man spoke the truth, we are 90% Igbo. Forget stories that come from Benin. Benin have succeeded in changing all the street name and Market in Omolua to Benin name but they could not change the language. However, Benin people call us Igbo People because we speak Bia. I am from imo state and I hear 80 percent of igbanke igbo dialect though igbanke are originally igbos but I think they have been corrupted by bini influence and it's very dangerous to welcome them as brothers, let them remain lost for ever. Next time have a better interview. Igbos are ancestors to bini . there was no name like Benin before 15th century when Portuguese came. The land was called Idu and was part of Igboland extension. Igbos have a surviving culture dating 800AD. Ndi onitsha left from a part of Idu which was part of Igboland due to hostilities from bini.
