Do you want an endcard to add to your videos? I think that would be pretty helpful because it could be set up display the next video in the series automatically

Thanks Man, Great Help But I have a query that do photosynthesis occurs in all the green parts of the plant e.g stem?
@NotWithThatAttitude3 жыл бұрын
@Shafin Tashfinur Rahman nah bro any part of a plant that's green contains chloroplasts which can carry out cellular respiration in the right conditions- the leave's just contain the most amount of chloroplasts
@sherlock11246 жыл бұрын
question ; so would the starch experiment be completely useless if the plant used the starch (converted into glucose) to release energy by respiring, since no starch would be left, this experiment wouldve been useless, no?
@Cambridgein5minutes6 жыл бұрын
Yes theoretically if the plant uses all of its starch for respiration and you have no starch left in the plant then the iodine test will be negative. But a scenario like this is unlikely to occur :)
@vanshikakohli22574 жыл бұрын
@@Cambridgein5minutes sir why is this scenario unlikely?

why do we need to destatrch plant?
@Cambridgein5minutes6 жыл бұрын
When we investigate photosynthesis we control various factors such as light, carbon dioxide, etc. to see how each of these factors affect photosynthesis. We know for a fact that photosynthesis does NOT happen in the darkness. Basically we can confirm this by destarching two plants. One plant will be left with light the other in darkness. You will find that doing a starch test on these two plants afterwards will give u a positive result (starch present) in the plant in light and a negative result (starch absent) in the plant in darkness. This shows that photosynthesis cannot happen in the dark. Now imagine if we didn’t destarch the plants to begin with. Even the plant left in the dark will have a positive starch result because of the starch that was already present BEFORE the experiment began. This is obviously an inaccurate result. Therefore we must destarch the plant before all experiments when carrying out an investigation such as this . Hope that helps !
