A router is like a traffic cop that helps your message find the best path to reach your friend's computer. It's like a smart postman who knows all the shortcuts and fastest routes to deliver your message quickly. On the other hand, a node is like a point along the way where your message stops briefly before continuing its journey. Think of it as a pit stop or a rest area where your message takes a break before moving on to the next router or destination.
