IGG Anniversary Roulette, Doomsday: Last Survivors, Troops skin on the 336th spin

So I take it these "Troop Skin" Roulette events are effectively a trap; just like the "Special Matrix Orders" are in Tower of Fantasy (terrible example I know, as I doubt those that play Doomsday also play ToF)? Troop skins in Doomsday just seem like they are meant to drain all your accumulated gems (and possibly gold) for a 'skin' you never really get to see except as lowres pixel versions? Then I'd rather wait for those actual Legendary Hero events where you actually have a decent chance at obtaining 10 shards for them; like that Elena/Bella Roulette we had a little while back. 😅
