My first concert was Iggy Pop at the L.A. stardust ballroom in 1979, was broadcast live on KROQ and released as a bootleg many years later called "heroin hates you". The stage ended up falling apart and I was pushed up onto it. Got to touch Iggy! I was in high school at the time. This girl I really liked asked me to go. She was hanging onto/inside one of the huge speakers in the crowd. I remember looking out at her when I was on stage and her flipping me off! I married that girl in 1989 and we just had our 30th wedding anniversary. When iggy did the tour for Ready to die we saw him in Denver. He stage dove right over my wife partially landing on her and she finally forgave me! We waited after the concert by his bus and my wife got a picture with him. Thanks Iggy!
