People have many different ideas, opinions and beliefs about how to be saved. Religious leaders and different religions teach a variety of ways to be saved, some even contradictory to one another, others not even found written in the Bible.
Is it enough to believe in God and Christ, to follow the golden rule (do good to others and not harm). keep the ten commandments, pray; does one have to be devoted In worship and be a member of a church to be saved? Luke 1:77 and Acts 2:38 -- You can't be saved unless you are baptized. These two scriptures sum it up. Moreover, Peter said, 'baptism doth also now save us.' 1 Peter 3:19-21.

How about the verses in John 3:3? John 3:5-8? In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." -John 3:3 Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You MUST be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." --John 3:5-8 When we say born again, it is not about being part of a denomination but really being a new person in Christ. It is turning away from sin, putting off the old self and living for Christ. Truly living for Him. (Ephesians 4:22-24) Even if you're a member of an organization or let's say a religious group without being born again as a new person by believing in Christ, without having the Holy Spirit who is the seal of our salvation, you'll not be saved. You cannot enter the kingdom of God. Salvation is not about membership but about Christ. Salvation cannot be earned by being a member of a particular religion. Christ is the only way to heaven. Christ is the only truth. Christ is the only life. He is the only one we need. We must know Him. Really know Him for who He is because if we do not know Him for who He really is, we are all doomed. This is about eternity. This is about every person's soul. Yes we need the church to fellowship with believers but it is not one of our means to salvation. CHRIST ALONE. We need the church to strengthen us because believing and following Christ is not that easy as many people would think. But it is CHRIST ALONE who saves. He is the one to decide who will be saved. Always test yourselves if you are all really in the faith. If you all really believed in Christ. Make sure you really did believe because if you are just deceiving yourselves, all your good works will be in vain. Obey the Lord. Obey His commands and not any man-made religion. Please don't put people's souls in danger by giving them false hopes. Let them seek the Lord truly through His word. Don't settle for what you just heard but go in the Word of God and find out the truth for yourselves. If you really want the Lord, then seek Him and you'll find Him for who He really is. "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." ---Jeremiah 29:13 "Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near." --Isaiah 55:6 Don't believe anyone telling they have the answers. Go in the word of God yourselves and let God teach you. In fact he commands everyone to read his word day and night. "Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it." ---Joshua 1:8
