After years of successful experience in designing and planning houses and buildings, Jeriel Capili decided to take a shot in the Architect Licensure Examination. But when his plan to become a full-pledged architect failed, it drew a realization in his life that still, he should trust his greatest mentor.
His faith being put to a test when confronted with this major setback, he gained motivation to continue his dreams and his duties in the Church.
In this Executive News Feature entitled "Lifted Up," Jeriel reminisced not only what he gained from a loss but the determination his roots were able to prove when they encountered a life-threatening trial.
Jeriel's family is one of the households relocated in the first resettlement community established by the Church Of Christ in Barangay Maligaya in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. Brought by the persecution experienced by Iglesia Ni Cristo members in Hacienda Luisita in Tarlac back in the 1960's, his family surmounted challenges by continuing their services to God.
