Thank you! They have really come in handy and definitely look awesome. Putting an umbrella over these too can help keep them cool if in the direct sun.

Lid doesn’t lock closed

You are correct....there is no intentional lock mechanism/holes.....however, you can easily use a cable (similar to one you would use to secure the cooler to your RV or a tree or something) and fit it into the groove meant for the smart device on the lid. I hope that idea helps....but yes you are spot on, there was no intentionally designed place to lock the lid. Cheers!

Yetis and orca and frostedFrog....those are all good too. Not slamming anyone. I just love mine.

Agree to disagree… But I honestly love using the igloo coolers! my family and I have used them our whole lives when going camping or to the beach and they are really useful and helpful.

The regular igloos are good for the price.I gotta say I bought one of these trail ones and for $280 I had to return it. It is loaded with great features but the drain plug inside of the cooler would spin(Only the cover should spin/not the treaded plug inside the coolers wall) and leak. All of them were scuffed up in the store(Maybe thats Dicks Sporting Goods fault) but for $280 it should be in mint condition and I should be the one scuffing it up over the years. I want to love it because it shits on Yeti as far as features go: storable sandwich/snack tray, umbrella/fishing pole holders, big tires, big handle for pulling, 2 bottle openers, the look. And a yeti is $120 more but is only a “bear-proof” cooler with rolling wheels and a pull bar. I don’t know which way to go.
