Seriously impressive how well Eastman knows every adaptation of his property. Most creators who “franchise out” end up just stepping back and enjoying the royalty paychecks. I’m honestly surprised, considering Eastman seemed more eager to sell his share of TMNT than Laird back in the day.

Loving the original tmnt and then also rise of tmnt because after you meet some of characters it really gets to main arc and it is intense and interesting and secrets are revealed and certain characters (splinter and bones) 0:15 start actually being useful and it’s very well executed

Kevin Eastman looks like he could be the guitarist of The Descendants or Bad Religion. Glad the Nickelodeon series got some love, it's highly underrated. And the 2007 version needs a remaster, great movie!

As a first wave fan of the original animated show, and later the original B&W comics, it's easy to see all later incarnation as generic posers. Not trying to gatekeep, that's just what I'm thinking.
