Speed running has nothing to do with level difficulty, speed running is a seperate task unto itself where you're focused on time rather than accomplishing tasks other than finishing the level.

Imagine how cool it would have been if, after beating the game or something, you could replay any stage using any outfit. And every stage had a tongue in cheak redesign for each costume, trying to incorporate the different playstyles each outfit would bring. Like how, on a fighting stage, every enemy is scrambling to handle a mermaid peach rhythm game. Now that would be a hell of a game, eh?
