This song is actually by Jules Shear but Ignatius Jones version is the original as it was released about 3 months before Jules version. Funny how the original artist is actually doing the cover if you consider the timing

@@cszmax The same thing happened with songwriter Alex Call's "New Romeo." Tim Goodman recorded it before Alex Call's version (and Rex Smith's and Southside Johnny & The Jukes' version.)

As a solo act he didn’t make an album but he was the lead singer of the band “Jimmy and the boys”

He’s been in the art music scene for so long here. He helped with the Sydney 2000 olymoics opening and closing ceremonies and his sister Monica Trapaga is a Jazz Singer and Children’s entertainer here in Australia.
