Hello Doris! I so agree with you. But I am also curious about your feelings about the interruption of this emotional, heartfelt song near the end, as he was so in the moment. I don’t know, it upsets me every time I listen to this! It seems, while given in a spirit of love and appreciation, the audience cut him off very early in the song. Okay, rant over. @@17babaha I'm sure Ignazio was overwhelmed by the audience's exhuberance. I think it was rude to sing along with Ignazio before he invited them to do so. You pay for a ticket to see and hear the artist, not voices in the audience. I think because Ignazio endears himself to the audience (so do Piero and Gianluca) he himself was surprised at their enthusiasm. He handled the incident with deep humility and love. In all my years of being an usher I have yet to see an audience cut off the singer where he actually stops singing. It can be construed as either rude or done with love. I prefer to think this audience showered Ignazio with love. In some cultures the audiences are very quiet but applaud loudly at the end; other cultures are louder. Many Il Volo audiences shower them with standing ovations after each song. Incredible!!!

I knew he was an amazing singer, but the moment he opened his mouth in this video I was encaptured. Igna is soooo talented. The way you could hear the crowd singing along with him almost made me cry 😭 This performance was packed with emotion; I didn’t know whether to cry or smile with admiration.

I did both, cry and smile that is. I just love how he always thanks the orchestra behind him, he is such a lovely man. I can't stop watching this video, in fact, I can't stop watching every video I come across - and there are a lot. I really want to buy some of their albums, but I hesitate because I can't speak Italian, however, that doesn't seem to matter when you see such perfection singing each song.

@@diannehill689 Please, don’t let the language barrier stop you. I am American, and had conveniently started learning Italian a few months before I discovered the boys. They have done nothing but help me to learn the language, and have also made me fall in love with the culture itself. There are translated lyrics for most of their songs online, if you would like to better understand. But as you said, you don’t have to speak the language to enjoy the music ❤️ I had the opportunity to see the boys in concert just before the world shut down because of Covid-19. Ignazio did not perform this song, but he did do another of my favorites- Memory. I understand what you mean when you say you smiled AND cried, because I did the exact same thing. It’s an experience like no other.

They make other music seem irrelevant and I adore Queen with Adam Lambert but I would rather watch Il Volo lately. I am so envious that you got to see them live.

I think it’s because the genre they sing is so rare; their music feels like a breath of fresh air compared to the things we usually listen to.
