It probably will get delayed because there is no negative reception for games getting delayed anymore…maybe just a letdown but not negative reception. That’s because so many games have been released unfinished in a poor state that people actually praise companies for taking their time to release a fully finished product, even if it means the date gets moved back. Obviously I’d rather have a game be delayed but polished versus releasing an unfinished game, but that just comes to show how low our standards have dropped. There used to be a time where you were expected to release a game both on schedule AND completely finished, but now we just go “well i’m okay with them delaying it if that means not releasing an unfinished game.”

The 3D era GTA's were delayed varying weeks, GTA IV, RDR, GTA V, and RDR2 were all delayed for six months to a year. It's what they do. They prioritize polish and testing. It's smart. I'd be stunned if GTA VI releases in 2025.

Well, Rockstar and Take Two officials have come out twice now over the last several months stating that the game is still set to release in 2025. That being said, Rockstar's track record can't be ignored. Majority of their big releases were delayed since GTA IV.
