Regarding "Rare Coin-It Inc." - it was the American arm of Rare that was a partnership between the Stampers of the UK studio and Joel Hochberg, an arcade owner/operator in Miami (fun fact: Rare Miami is mentioned in the Perfect Dark credits). Several Rare games pre-Donkey Kong Country had "Rare Coin-It" in the boot screens, as that was the corporation working with the pre-Nintendo publishers like Tradewest and Acclaim on distribution before Nintendo became the primary publisher (though Rare continued to self-publish up through Conker's Bad Fur Day). I believe the partnership ended with the sale to Microsoft.

I haven't played a COD game since the 360/PS3 generation. I only played them on PlayStation, and it was perfectly fine, even with average Internet. Sam Raimi was also known for Hercules The Legendary Journeys and Xena Warrior Princess, two of my favorite shows from my childhood. I still watch them once in a while. I miss shows like that. Fun facts, they were filmed in New Zealand and a lot of people who worked on those 2 shows went on to work on the Power Rangers seasons that were filmed there during the Disney Era.

When you guys were talking about Resident Evil 4 being originally scrapped and started over, that earlier game wasn't thrown away, Shinji Mikami gave those assets to Resident Evil 2's director, Hideki Kamiya (co - founder of platinum, director of Okami, Viewtiful Joe, Bayonetta, as well) and the game was turned into Devil May Cry.

The unbalanced audio and choppy video is pretty unacceptable for as long as this show has been done from home. I understand that sometimes ISPs just suck and someone's audio or video might get messy for a reason that's completely beyond their control. But IGN should get their podcasters some new mics and cameras at least if this is really how it's gonna be forever. The personalities are great as they've always been so I hope you don't take my criticism like it's coming from a wholly negative place. But I feel like us listeners do deserve better. Just my two cents as someone that used to never miss an episode but now only listens every few months.

Persona 5, Dark Souls III, Inside, lots of games better than Overwatch that year
@mick97072 жыл бұрын
@@lazercrotch9839 debatable. Most people consider Persona 5 a 2017 game due to when it came out in the U.S. and many other regions. It wasn’t eligible for most outlets and people’s lists. It’s a very different game anyway that’s much better in some ways and much worse in others. Inside I wouldn’t call better than Overwatch. Really refined and polished game, but fairly simplistic gameplay/puzzle wise. I’m also not a fan of the story and ending at all, but that’s very subjective I know. Dark Souls 3, sure maybe. Just another souls game though. Overwatch was at least something new/newish for many people. I’d hazard a guess that more people would enjoy Overwatch than Dark Souls 3 too. Dark Souls is playable after the online shuts down though for whatever that’s worth to you.

There’s nothing wrong with a company admitting where they are in terms of market share Microsoft is #3 in console Manufacturing. That does not mean they’re in the same breath they can’t also admit that they are pushing to be number one in innovation and new technologies that they give the best value to gamers. You can say that in the same breath. What makes a company shine is when they can admit they have some room to grow. Don’t always come out saying we’re going to be the best there’s nothing wrong with saying we have work to do we have improvements that need to be made. That means you’ve examined yourself and the competition and you see where you are falling short.

The physics are soooo good and the table doesn’t have any “virtual” features, only things that could actually happen in a real world pinball table. The features and table rules are great. There’s a genuine sense of achievement when you complete shots and features in the order they are supposed to be played. Please check this out Sam. TAXI!!!! 😉

I would argue that Nintendo does no lots of games are being released on there e-shop The thing is that’s what they want to happen. They can’t have an online shop where they don’t have games being released for weeks at a time. Just think how bad it would be if you found out Nintendo online only had two new games a month. So they had a choice to make do you allow everything to come here regardless of what it is or do we become more selective and only allow traditional games to come here. They chose the first because they said we can’t have our shop look like it’s not doing anything.

Unless Sony returns PlayStation leadership to Japan, it should not touch any Japanese studios, outside of marketing agreements; and even those are obnoxiously half assed, short of Final Fantasy, maybe.
