This Ignis is revised by Cataclysm Apotheosis Addon, he can regain his hp 2 times as he change stages, also with higher defense and buffs.

Apotheosis-addon upgraded, bosses will now parry projectiles, mobs hit by bosses will stagger, and attacks will ignore damage caps.

He's using apotheosis for the cataclysm mod. It makes all mobs and bosses from the cataclysm mod stronger

The real question is, how the hell did Ferrous lose if he was still basically invincible? How was Ignis able to hit Ferrous so much?

With the apotheosis addon, ignis takes way less damage, and will heal between phases, on top of that shield he already has. This makes it harder for ferrous to do a lot of damage to ignis. Also, sometimes when ferrous gets his axe stuck, he will turn a bit, which let ignis hit him
