Okay Friend Like Me is the PERFECT fireworks song and I am so happy with that part of this show. That and the Star Wars part were my favorite wow this was beautiful!! Also interesting how some songs were in English and others weren't?

Shanghai Disneyland is located in China. Therefore they made the shows such that it both Chinese and international tourist could understand the shows!

I feel like Mulan gets forgotten at the American Disney parks so I'm really happy she's included here- and I'm not at all surprised haha.

The mulan part was very short though. Hercules also always gets forgotten though.

It's amazing how it is world of color forewords and even paint the night with the colors. Interesting how some are in English but I wonder how they chose them. This was so cool i bet it was breathtaking in person!

Disney is upping their game with every fireworks show. Heck, I was gobsmacked when they "dropped" the Chinese Theatre for the Movie Studio's Star Wars show! This just ups the ante to 11!

I think we can all agree the lion king part is waaaaay too long they should pick one song and give some time to another classic maybe peter pan or alice in wonderland, hell even snow white those things got the company started and have tons of material kids know today, other than that it was beautiful ! The mermaid and aladdin portion are breathtaking and everything is just perfection! I loved it!

Fun fact: if you walk up the bridge to the castle, look toward the side facing fantasy land during the fireworks! You get to see the fireworks go off right beside you!(well it kind of is a safety issue)

It's also 60 years old so I'm sure they never thought they could do this or else, considering how much of a perfectionist Walt was, he would have made the Disneyland castle just as big and technologically advanced :)

Have you seen Disneyland Forever fireworks?! It's a much larger scale, going all down Main Street, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Matterhorn, Small World, and Rivers of America! Plus I think the projections run much smoother at Disneyland. Though I almost like this better because it's simply more focused.

Just came back from Disneyland Paris and this show is very similar to the Illuminations show in Disneyland Paris except the french parts are in Chinese. Plus there is a Mulan segment not in Paris. Great video.

lasers and water fountains are cool but with a big castle, I am expecting more awesomeness like the kind of fireworks they do in Florida. I hope this is just a temporary and next year they create a new show with just fireworks, music, and of course we can add lights and fountains. haha.

Caleb Pursley they can't add more fireworks and I did my research on this it said that there's too much air pollution in shanghai so they had to limit their fireworks which kind of sucks!

It's better if they called this show a "multimedia spectacular" like Fantasmic in California, Tokyo and Florida. But the name "fireworks show" is still appropriate for the fact that fireworks is one major part of it

There's a LOT inside the castle. Part of a ride, a walk trough and a restaurant. And yes- we were front row, sitting down. The camera was sitting higher on a banister.

I'm actually kinda disappointed. Disney could of done so much more with this show. This was one of their best scales of production yet and they wasted it on a cheap Disneyland Paris remake.

Samantha Lyn projection shows are what Disney is doing because right now they have the edge with that, and this was done with the park being over budget

Mind you that China does have an Anti-Western values sentiment while allowing foreign businesses operates. Therefore the presentation has to go through Central Government before implementing. Huge potential but not executing as Government doesn't want foreign park to shadow local competition - like Apple not able to use their logos in China. Compare this to Hong Kong Disneyland, HK fireworks somehow much better even though it's smaller and minimalistic.

I was quite shocked by your POV about Anti-Western values... if it's about the government will, the Disneyland Shanghai won't even been approved at a very begining point of time. About Apple, I have never heard they can't use their logo in China... I'm not sure if you're talking about the "iPhone" brand case actually. I consider it as a pure result of trade friction. Back to the fireworks, I reckon both budget and polution controlling are to taken into consideration. Typically northern China gives birth to more air polution, not Shanghai, so i call it responsibility. If that some one says "Disney could have done better" equals to "More fireworks rather than projection", I would say he must have totally no idea about what PM2.5 is.
