He doesn't smoke Yngwie. And Yngwie doesn't smoke him. Both are friggin amazing. I absolutely LOVE this piece by Igor. He should be as well known as the greats.

If you know his entire catalogue, early 80's till now, he DOES sometimes play with joy & love! Besides, I dunno about ego, but anger & bravado does sometimes produce fantastic results - we are talking about rock, after all! But yeah, Igor's at a whole different level! It's the evolution of guitar, proceeding as it should! Igor, Max Ostro, Matteo Mancuso, Damian Salazar, Justin Lee Schultz, Antoine Boyer, Marcin, Josh Meader, Ichika Into, Roy Marchbank, Abim Finger, Lisa-X, & today there are many more - all are reaching higher levels in 1 way or another. Many are very young. I think KZbin & other social media is as responsible for this as anything, it's part of the good side of SM, IMO. I'm 1000% for it, but it doesn't take anything away from the foundation of earlier greats that these young people are building on....

I challenge anyone out there who can say who is better than Igor? I've looked long and hard for over 40+ years and no one can hold a candle to this guy. I introduced him to my late brother and he was instantly hooked.❤ Goven, Lane, Macalpine, Gilbert, Moore, Malmsteen etc are my personal favs but I believe this guy has pushed the absolute boundaries of what a guitarist can do. Most gifted player I have ever heard. Gripping emotion exceeding that of David Gilmour. Bursts of speed surpassing Michael Schenker, Vai, Satch or even Mr. Malmsteen; anyone period. Composition skills 2nd to no one. My favorite guitarist since first listen a year or so ago.

Just stumbled onto Igor a few days ago. Absolutely the most melodic player I’ve ever heard. I’m a big Satriani and Malmsteen fan and I hear a lot of them in Igor’s playing but he has his own feel and techniques as well. Jaw dropping stuff from him!! I’m about melodies and Igor definitely surpasses anyone I’ve ever heard in that respect. Absolutely amazing ear ecstasy!! Keep it up Igor, love your playing!!

Absolutely heart stopping Igor. I always know that with every new video you post, there will be something almost supernatural to take place. Absolutely amazing as always, puts to shame many of the KZbin monster shredders and other guitar freaks. (sorry had to name names: Jason Richardson, Tosin, Tim Henson, Ichika something🤭,etc) They are all great technically, but in terms of melodic approach, nothing beats Igor,🤘💯, he's like a modern Yngwie with a twist(which I really admire), just love the Neo Classical sounding melodic lines and the blur of notes still very discernable and interesting at insane speed. Igor rocks!🔥🎸

The precision and respect for the patience to play this as you have is beyond stellar. I caught a few minor differences, mainly in a few harmonics as compared by the exact original, but that's not the goal for anyone of us. When you strummed the open chords leading into the vocals, your body movements were exactly what all of us feel when that energy and confidence...and being a part of the music...is the most authentic example of the heart it takes to give it everything you have....and to not doing it forcefully...but out of sheer restraint.
